  • Publication number: 20020017378
Abstract: A fan device mounted on the top opening of a cylindrical cooler. Fan comprises a ring plate member, a seat, a plurality of blades, and a plurality of ribs interconnected between the ring plate member and the seat. Blades are rotationally mounted on seat. The bottom of fan is abutted on the inner bottom surface of cooler. Wind generated by the activation of blades is directed toward cooler. As such, the heat transferred from a heat source may be effectively radiated to the outside.

  • Patent number: 6315529
Abstract: A cooling fan comprises a rotor, a stator, a circuit board, a base, and a magnetic plate wherein rotor includes blades, a magnetic recess, and a shaft; stator has posts; circuit board has apertures corresponding to the posts; and base includes a bearing and a sleeve. Posts of stator are inserted into apertures of circuit board, shaft of rotor is inserted through stator and circuit board to secure in the bearing of base, and magnetic plate is located between stator and circuit board corresponding to and lower than magnetic recess of rotor by a gap, and is spaced apart from the poles of stator. By utilizing this, a cooling fan with anti deflection capability, enhanced performance, and prolonged life is effected.

  • Patent number: 6309191
Abstract: A brushless fan comprises a rotor assembly, a stator assembly, a frame, a retaining ring, and an oil ring. Concentric inner and outer slopes are provided at bottom of shaft housing for supporting bearing and stator assembly. As such, bearing and stator assembly precisely position with respect to shaft housing for obtaining an optimum magnetization, whereby shaft can stably rotate under the influence of magnetic field of rotor. Lubricating oil reservoir is provided between bearing and the top of shaft housing. Oil ring and projected cylindrical member are provided on top of shaft housing being oblique with respect to each other and separated by a minimum gap, thereby sealing the oil reservoir. With this, lubricating oil is prevented from spilling when rotor is rotating. Further a larger oil storage space and the omission of washer are effected.
