    Abstract: A switchable water-saving valve including a water inlet substrate formed as an annular body which has a housing and a water inlet portion. The water inlet portion is fixedly arranged within the housing and has a water inlet and a water outlet extending therethrough. A flow channel substrate is fixedly arranged within the housing below the water inlet portion. Guide holes are formed circumferentially at intervals on the flow channel substrate and extend therethrough and are in fluid communication with the water outlet. A switch holder is rotatably positioned below the flow channel substrate. First and second pluralities of water flow holes are arranged circumferentially in the top surface of the switch holder and penetrate the top surface. Water outlet holes are formed on the bottom surface of an aerator holder and are in fluid communication with the first water flow holes.

    Abstract: A self-closing water-saving valve assembly has a casing, a seat, a pushing rod, a closing member and a stand. When said valve assembly is switched off, the closing member and the stand slow down the closing movement into a gradual manner, which can effectively reduce positive and negative pressure waves generated in the water pipe. Noises and damage to the water pipe are also prevented. Besides, the pushing rod is moved down by gravity and slight water pushing, which eliminates the problems of wear and speeded-up movement of the pushing rod. Therefore, the valve assembly has prolonged lifespan. In addition, the water pressure is not directly applied on the pushing rod and only slight water pushes the pushing rod such that it is easier for a user to push the pushing rod to switch on the valve assembly.

The stacked gate has a gate insulating layer, a polysilicon layer, a silicate layer, and a cap layer. A sacrificial layer is deposited on the substrate, and etched backed to expose the cap layer and an upper portion of the silicate layer. Then, the exposed silicate layer is partially removed to form a recess. The recess is filled with silicon nitride. Finally, a spacer is formed on walls of the stacked gate.
