  • Patent number: 6473946
Abstract: A magnetic clasp is composed of a bolting member and a locking member, the bolting member including a container, a bolting rod, a first magnetic element, and a second magnetic element; a through hole in the container, both ends of the bolting rod in different outer diameters; the bolting rod, both magnetic elements being received in sequence in the container, the smaller end of the bolting rod penetrating the through hole of the container and its larger end being restricted inside the container and holding against the first magnetic element; both magnetic elements rejecting each other due to opposite magnetism; a through hole in the locking member; the bolting rod penetrating the through hole of the locking member to lock up as the locking member being attracted by the first magnetic element.

  • Patent number: 5575197
Abstract: The present invention provides a modular roasting pan having a jointer. A plurality of the disclosed roasting pans may be joined together side by side. In each pan, there is formed a liquid collecting basin having a deep guide segment and a shallow guide segment on opposing sides of the pan. The liquid collecting basin is defined between a raised roasting block and a sidewall structure. On the segments of the sidewall extending transverse to the deep guide segment of the basin are formed joint slots. An elongate tongue is formed on the sidewall segment extending along the shallow guide segment of the basin. On the ends of the tongue are formed two stoppers for inserting engagement with the joint slots of another pan. Two or more pans are joined together by first inserting the tongue of one pan into a joint slot of another, then sliding the first pan relative to the second pan until the two stoppers of the first pan are both inserted into respective joint slots of the second pan.

  • Patent number: 4751830
Abstract: The application discloses a push-button lock to which a secondary key is added to the locking system for use when the button combination for a lock is forgotten or not readily available. Unlocking with the secondary key is accomplished by the use of a toothed trigger plate and a gear system. The secondary key turns the gear which in turn rotates the trigger plate. A secondary locking pin secured to the trigger plate rotates with the movement of the trigger plate and releases the shackle. When unlocked by the push-button combination, the shackle is released and the trigger plate is separated from the gear. The toothed end of the trigger plate again aligns with the gear when returned to the locked position. In the preferred embodiment alternative, an elongated flange member having a slot in which a pin on the trigger plate travels is employed in place of the system.
