  • Patent number: 6514054
Abstract: A ceiling fan housing assembly includes an upper casing mounted on the top of a motor, a fastener mounted on the bottom of the motor and a lower casing attached to the fastener. The fastener includes an annular flange laterally extending from the fastener and multiple equally spaced threaded holes defined in the annular flange. A bracket extends from the flange and a reversing switch is mounted on a free end of the bracket. The reversing switch has a switch bar that extends through the housing assembly. The lower casing abuts the upper casing to form a chamber to hold the motor. The lower casing includes multiple equally spaced through holes defined in the bottom of the lower casing, and a slot is defined in of the lower casing to allow the switch bar of the reversing switch to extend through the lower casing.

  • Patent number: 6487936
Abstract: An auxiliary-bicycle torsion sensing and large gear plate minimization apparatus, arranged in transmission apparatus of an auxiliary-bicycle, includes a sun gear, a unidirectional device, a planet gear set and a sensing device. The sun gear of planet gear set is connected to the crank axle of auxiliary-bicycle and driven directly with it. The stepping power of crank axle is output to the large gear plate of auxiliary-bicycle through the transmission of sun gear, planet gear and unidirectional device. Also, one side of swing arm, used for pivotally arranging sun gear and planet gear, is arranged with the sensing device. When crank axle is rotated by the stepping force of rider, the swing arm will generate a rotation torsion, and sensing device senses the torsion value to control the power output of driving motor.

  • Patent number: 6280145
Abstract: A suspending structure of a ceiling fan is disclosed. Since in the prior art suspending structure of a ceiling fan, the swinging angle of a swinging pipe set is confined by the assembly hole of a suspender, a swinging pipe set, a hanging bell and other components. Therefore, the swing is preformed in a small angle. For a surface (such as ceiling) with a large inclined angle, it can not be used and is very dangerous. Therefore, in the present invention, two sides of the assembly hole of a suspender are formed with a cavity and an opening, and the engaging hole of the hanging bell is formed with long sides. Two ends of the long side are placed on the cavity and opening of the suspender. Thereby, as the swinging pipe set shifts toward said cavity, said swinging pipe is received within one end of said long side of the cavity. Therefore, a swing of large angle is generated, moreover, said swinging path of the swinging pipe set is confined by said buckle and said trench.
