  • Publication number: 20240149069
Abstract: Techniques for pairing an external device such as a clinician programmer (CP) to an implantable medical device (IMD) are disclosed, which involve use of a remote controller (RC) paired to the IMD. The RC is placed into a CP pairing mode, which acts differently depending on the type of IMD paired to the RC. If the IMD is RF based, the CP pairing mode places the IMD in a pairing mode, thus allowing the CP to connect directly with the IMD via a RF telemetry protocol. If the IMD is magnetic-induction based, the CP pairing mode causes the RC to advertise its presence to the CP, allowing the CP to connect to the RC via the RF telemetry protocol. Because the RC is also paired with the IMD via a magnetic induction telemetry protocol, the RC acts as a passthrough device to allow communications between the CP and the IMD.

  • Publication number: 20240108900
Abstract: A system for adjusting neuromodulation parameters used by a neuromodulator operably connected to a plurality of electrodes to modulate a neural target, may comprise a translation trigger detector configured to determine that a translation trigger has occurred, a first parameter setting storage configured to store first parameter settings for use by the neuromodulator to modulate the neural target, and a neuromodulation parameter translator. The neuromodulation parameter translator may be operably connected to the translation trigger detector to automatically translate the first parameter settings into a second parameter settings in response to determining the translation trigger has occurred, and replace the first parameter settings with the second parameter settings, or store the second parameter settings in a second parameter setting storage.

  • Patent number: 11907382
Abstract: An accessory device receives authentication information from a host computing device connected thereto and determines whether the authentication information is valid. If the authentication information is valid, the accessory device applies a first access policy that specifies whether the accessory device can provide the host computing device with access to none, some, or all of various computing resources of the accessory device. If the authentication information is not valid, the accessory device applies a second access policy that is different than the first access policy. The accessory device can also be provisioned with access policies by a host computing device if the host computing device successfully authenticates with the accessory device. In either case, authenticating the host computing device may include verifying a digital signature of a certificate provided by the host computing device using a public key of a certificate authority that has been provisioned to the accessory device.

  • Publication number: 20240046680
Abstract: A system and method for correcting image data is disclosed. The method includes receiving one or more documents from one or more electronic mediums. The method further includes determining a primary character and one or more alternate characters corresponding to the mis-captured character image, extracting one or more confident instances of the primary character and the one or more alternate characters from the one or more documents and generating one or more scores corresponding to the primary character and the one or more alternate characters. Further, the method includes predicting a correct character corresponding to the mis-captured character image by using a trained image prediction-based ML model and automatically replacing the mis-captured character image with the predicted correct character.

  • Publication number: 20240040649
Abstract: An advertising algorithm is disclosed which operates in an Implantable Medical Device (IMD) to adjust an interval at which the IMD will transmit advertising data packets to an external device able to connect with the IMD. When a communication session between the IMD and an external device is terminated, the advertising algorithm will issue advertising data packets at a higher rate for a set duration. This will allow the external device to connect more quickly with the IMD in a next communication session. After the set duration, when it may be assumed that the external device is less likely to connect with the IMD, the algorithm reduces that rate at which advertising data packets are issued, which saves power in the IMD.

  • Patent number: 11772819
Abstract: Method and system to ascertain location of drone box for landing and charging drones comprising at least a drone box having a drone platform with a plurality of limiting boundaries, divided into number of sensor zones that are mechanically contiguous and electrically separated by an insulated separator of insulation width, each sensor zone having an identification coordinates, each drone having a plurality of ground interfaces, each having a unique address code, each ground interface has a charging terminal at a far end, each charging terminal having an interlocked switchable electricity polarity. The identification coordinates of the activated sensor zones are communicable to a second drone so that the second drone knows where NOT to land on the drone box, Such communication enables a third and subsequent drone to ascertain whether the identified drone box is suitable and available for landing.

  • Patent number: 11758071
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing identification and removal of noise from documents, and, more particularly, to methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing identification and removal of noise from financial documents using one or more machine learning algorithms. In various embodiments, computing system might receive a document. The computing system might detect, using one or more machine learning algorithms, that noise exists in the document. Based on the detection that noise exists in the document, the computing system might remove the noise from the document. Once the noise is removed from the document, the computing system might generate a copy of the document with the noise removed while retaining important or useful information contained in the document.

  • Publication number: 20230277857
Abstract: A system may include a user device, a clinician programmer and an implantable medical device. A first security protocol may be used to establish a first encrypted communication channel between the clinician programmer and the user device through cloud server(s). The first security protocol may authenticate entities and establish a first key set for encrypting and decrypting messages transmitted within the first encrypted communication channel. The user device and the implantable medical device may be configured to wirelessly communicate with each other through a secure wireless connection. A second security protocol may be used to establish a second encrypted communication channel, by establishing at least a first secret key, at least partially within the first encrypted communication channel. The second encrypted communication channel may extend between the implantable medical device and the clinician programmer. The first encrypted messages wrap the second encrypted messages.
