Abstract: An active probe pod used in a logic analyzer is disclosed. The active probe pod may be connected to the logic analyzer having a FPGA decoder and to a DUT circuit board. The active probe pod may include a LVDS differential ire component connected to the FPGA decoder and a front-end circuit board for capturing a weak signal input from the DUT circuit board. The front-end circuit board is adapted not to transmit the captured weak signal input over a long-distance signal transmission path, which helps minimize interferences with the weak signal input, while outputting a LVDS differential signal to the FPGA decoder for decoding. As the front-end circuit board is used for capturing the weak signal input, which falls within the category of one short-distance signal transmission, the signal reflection may not take place, without affecting the signal quality and/or attenuating the signal strength.

Abstract: A pointer positioning system includes an image generating unit, a light-spot generating unit, an operating unit, a calculating unit, and an image unit. The image generating unit creates an image on a display region. The light-spot generating unit projects positioning spots and identifying spots on the display region. The operating unit has an invisible-light camera to sense an image of a part of the entire display region. The calculating unit compares a distribution of the positioning spots and the identifying spots which is sensed by the invisible-light camera with a reference distribution stored in a memory, and the image unit shows a pointer image at a pointing position of the display region accordingly.

Abstract: In a structure and a method of data synchronization for multi measuring apparatuses, the multi measuring apparatuses link together to expand channels. One of those apparatuses is a master control measuring apparatus, and others are slave measuring apparatus. The master measuring apparatus can output synchronous signal to the slave measuring apparatuses. The slave measuring apparatus can retrieve the synchronous signal as a mark of data synchronization, and the synchronous signal and the marks are further stored in a memory. All the data and marks stored in the memory of the measuring apparatuses are transferred to a processing platform. By the software installed in the processing platform, the data wave form length of the master control measuring apparatus and slave measuring apparatus can be adjusted to the same, and the problem caused by the clock error of the measuring apparatus can be solved as well.

The device utilizes a serial-parallel shifter in its sampling module to convert the serial data to parallel data bytes. Two indicators in the storage unit of the memory device allow users to effectively store the parallel data bytes in designated locations. The innovative data conversion and storage methods of this invention will significantly conserve memory space that otherwise will be occupied by data from the disabled channels and allow accurate and efficient reading of the stored data.
