Publication number: 20240040259Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods, apparatuses, and systems of providing livestream services involving multiple camera angles. A video streaming system may provide a client with a data stream that allows for viewing the video streaming from any of the multiple cameras at the client's choosing. The video streaming system may first access image data from the multiple cameras. Image data from the multiple cameras taken at a single instance in time may be “stitched” together into a single array of image data to form an “image wall.” The image wall may be compressed to be substantially smaller than the sum of their individual compressed images. A stream of image walls may be generated and transmitted to a client device. Metadata including mapping information enables the client to locate a chosen camera angle to view and switch to any camera angle viewing of the same video stream at the client's choosing.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 26, 2022Publication date: February 1, 2024Inventors: Feng Hsu TSAI, Cho Hsuan LEE

Patent number: 11030841Abstract: Improved blockchain technology includes a decentralized talent discovery protocol. The decentralized talent discovery protocol may run a talent contest using self-executing smart contracts for voting parameters, crypto-tokens to facilitate democratization of the contest, and a decentralized ledger for immutably storing a record of voting events. The smart contracts may automatically execute code that enforces agreed-upon rules for voting and compensation for various parties. The decentralized ledger may provide immutable and secure proof of voting and compensation rights. To vote for a performer during the talent contest, a voting user may provide crypto-tokens issued by the system in exchange for a vote or the crypto-tokens themselves may be pledged to a performer. The crypto-tokens obtained through voting may be distributed according to the smart contract. The outcome of the talent contest may be determined by the number of votes and/or amount of cryptocurrency pledged to the performer.Type: GrantFiled: August 28, 2019Date of Patent: June 8, 2021Assignee: ESCAPEX LIMITEDInventors: Sephi Joseph Shapira, Cho-Hsuan Lee

Patent number: 9292614Abstract: The present invention is to provide a method for transmitting information between multiple electronic pages. The method is applicable to an information transmission system, which includes at least one terminal device, a web server, a toolbar server and an application server. The terminal device obtains a background page from the web server and a toolbar page from the toolbar server and embeds the toolbar page into the background page. When a user clicks on any of at least one application linking object on the toolbar page through the terminal device, the terminal device is able to obtain a status page from the toolbar server and then store page information on the background or toolbar page into the status page and connect to the application server for obtaining an application page corresponding to the application linking object clicked on, so as to enable the application page to access the page information.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2011Date of Patent: March 22, 2016Assignee: MIIICASA HOLDING (CAYMAN) INC.Inventors: Chih-Chiang Lin, Hung-Chun Kao, Yu-Sheng Lin, Ting-Yu Chiang, Shih-Hui Wu, Wen-Yuan Wang, Cho-Hsuan Lee, Chi-Ming Luo, Yi-Hua Liang, Min-Hui Wu, Hsiao-Yun Chen, Kuan-Yi Chang, Chi-Hsiu Huang, Jia-Bin Lai, Heng-Chang Lin, Yu-Hsiang Wang

Patent number: 9075892Abstract: The present invention is to provide a method applicable to a network system for automatically inserting an embedded toolbar into a web browser directly by way of a gateway device, wherein a toolbar request instruction written in a dynamic scripting language is inserted into a web page message by the gateway device while the web page message is transmitted from a web server to a terminal device (e.g., a personal computer, personal digital assistant, etc.) through the gateway device, so as to enable the web browser of the terminal device to request an embedded toolbar serve for providing an embedded toolbar message according to the toolbar request instruction and then show an embedded toolbar corresponding to the embedded toolbar message on a web page received from the web server according to the web page message. Thus, a user of the terminal device doesn't have to install the embedded toolbar additionally.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 2011Date of Patent: July 7, 2015Assignee: MIIICASA HOLDING (CAYMAN) INC.Inventors: Chih-Chiang Lin, Hung-Chun Kao, Yu-Sheng Lin, Ting-Yu Chiang, Shih-Hui Wu, Wen-Yuan Wang, Cho-Hsuan Lee, Chi-Ming Luo, Yi-Hua Liang, Min-Hui Wu, Hsiao-Yun Chen, Kuan-Yi Chang, Chi-Hsiu Huang, Jia-Bin Lai, Heng-Chang Lin, Yu-Hsiang Wang

Patent number: 8375103Abstract: The present invention is to provide a system including at least one storage device for storing at least one file each having a file name, a home gateway having a routing identification code and connected to the storage device, and a server connected to the home gateway via the Internet for receiving the routing identification code and the file name uploaded by the home gateway. The server stores a user's registration information corresponding to the routing identification code. When a terminal device connected to the server via the Internet uses the registration information to pass the server's verification and thus log in the server, the server transmits the file name to the terminal device and, when receiving a request instruction from the terminal device, then retrieves the file from the storage device by way of the home gateway and then sends the file to the terminal device as requested.Type: GrantFiled: March 2, 2011Date of Patent: February 12, 2013Assignee: D-Link CorporationInventors: Chih-Chiang Lin, Hung-Chun Kao, Yu-Sheng Lin, Ting-Yu Chiang, Shih-Hui Wu, Wen-Yuan Wang, Cho-Hsuan Lee, Chi-Ming Luo, Yi-Hua Liang, Min-Hui Wu, Hsiao-Yun Chen, Kuan-Yi Chang, Chi-Hsiu Huang, Jia-Bin Lai, Heng-Chang Lin, Yu-Hsiang Wang
