  • Publication number: 20230104620
Abstract: Example implementations relate to novel battery designs based on the original disclosures of the Parent patent application Ser. No. 15/196,019. In a non-limiting embodiment, a first battery includes a ferroelectric glass electrolyte and a ferrocene Fe(C5H5)2 molecule as a redox-mediator-relay material used for plating sodium on a current collector. Novel redox Fe(C5H5)2 behavior is shown at a fixed (or a finite) voltage under discharge conditions. The disposed ferroelectric electrolyte material is predisposed to align itself in the direction of the electric field inside the battery, increasing the capacity of the battery. This description is not intended to be a complete description of, or to limit the scope of, the invention.

  • Patent number: 10955920
Abstract: A precise, very high-density and miniaturized printed circuit board (PCB) structure comprising a substrate-like PCB configuration is provided (and stacked to further increase integration in a fixed area) for reducing the occupied area of, for example, a mobile phone's main printed circuit board. The PCB area reduction hereof being a critical design feature used to create internal space in the mobile device so as to at least allow implementing a substantially larger battery (i.e. the battery is comparably upsized because it is reconfigured from a traditional configuration to fit into at least some of the created space) or to add functions. A photolithography process or like process is used to define the circuit pattern on the PCB structure so as to at least enable finer lines and spaces thereof than that provided by traditional subtractive PCB manufacturing. This abstract is not intended to be a complete description of, or limit the scope of, the invention.

  • Patent number: 9158387
Abstract: A touchscreen-controller and data-entry ensemble are attached conterminously or proximately to a touchscreen device. A touchscreen-controller attachment device has one or more input ends and one or more output ends. The input and output ends may be opposite ends of unitary elements and/or may be remote from one another and connected by wire or wirelessly. Each input end of a unitary conductive element is connected to a respective output end and the plurality of output ends, residing in an attachment base, are in a position of contact with or in close proximity to the soft buttons, keys or controller(s) of a touchscreen. The output ends thus activate the touchscreen when the input ends are manipulated. A base maintains the input and/or output ends in fixed position during use. Input and output elements can be spring-mounted. New controllers offer the user haptic ability.

  • Publication number: 20140168100
Abstract: An innovative collection of both wired (e.g. a wired attachment interface for physical mapping) and wireless (e.g. a system of attachmentless actuation ushered by virtual or software-based mapping) specialty-input controllers for touchscreen devices are introduced by the inventor in emphasizing a continued theme of touchscreen controller innovation under common ownership. Remote-controller assemblies for touchscreens provide for the capture, translation and/or transmission (both directly, in a conductive channel, and indirectly) of the control input of a user—user motions, thematically—for correlative virtual actuation and/or capacitive-based discharge actuation at a coordinate touchscreen soft input for purposes of manipulating an actionable agent.

  • Publication number: 20140139455
Abstract: The application serves an eclectic mix of both wired (such as using a wired attachment interface for mapping an actionable object) and wireless (a system of attachmentless actuation ushered by software mapping) touchscreen controllers in an impetus to build on the inventor's previous discourse and to further highlight a continued theme of touchscreen controller innovation with this latest application entry. The inventor herein seeks to further revolutionize the face of touchscreen gaming by continuing with the theme of disclosing innovative touchscreen controller interfaces, and in so doing, the disclosure again attempts to quash many of the traditional limitations associated with a touchscreen's typical user interface; even introducing innovative serviceable User Interfaces that helps blur the lines of usability between touchscreen devices and competing platforms.
