Abstract: The application describes a container, bag, pouch or envelope which has a first part and a second part, the container, bag, pouch or envelope being closed by the first part locating within the second part, the second part having a first opening for receiving the first part and a second opening for receiving the head of a breakable and disposable seal which locks into the first part in such a manner that it cannot be removed without breaking the seal, the seal in its inserted position locking the first part in place inside the second part in a tamper evident fashion.

Abstract: Adapters for attaching a device to a port and methods of use thereof are disclosed. The adapter may include a housing to receive the device, wherein the housing includes an inner cavity configured to receive the port, and a sealing member; and an engaging member coupled to and moveable relative to the housing, the engaging member configured to move between a first position and a second position, where in the first position the engaging member locks the housing to the port, and in the second position the engaging member unlocks the housing from the port.

Abstract: Various methods and devices are described for imaging a body lumen during delivery and deployment of a medical device. In one example, a delivery device includes at least one sheath, a stent, an inner tubular member and at least one imaging device to allow visualization of the stent prior, during and after deployment without the use of an endoscope. The inner tubular member includes an articulating portion with the imaging device integrally formed and embedded therein.

Abstract: A seal has a head and a strap, the head having a chamber with an aperture through which the end of the strap can be fed. An arrangement is provided within the chamber to engage the strap so that it cannot be pulled out in the opposite direction to which is inserted. This arrangement includes resilient clip having arms which can flex and overlapping apertured members at the ends of the arms which are configured to provide a variable gap as the strap is pulled through. This clip is mounted in an insert which in turn is fitted in the chamber of the seal.

Abstract: The application describes a seal comprising a head and a strap, the head having a chamber with an aperture through which the end of the strap can be fed, means being provided within the chamber to engage the strap so that it cannot be pulled out in the opposite direction to which is inserted, the engaging means comprising a resilient clip having arms which can flex to provide a variable gap as the strap is pulled through. Advantageously, the clip is mounted in an insert which in turn is fitted in the chamber of the seal.
