  • Patent number: 11896045
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an apparatus and method for automated food preparation systems. An example apparatus includes a body defining a first end configured to receive a food item, a second end opposite the first end, and a flow channel defined by an inner surface of the body extending between the first end and the second end. In an instance in which the food item is directed into the body via the first end, the flow channel is configured to distribute a coating material about the food item before the food item exits the body via the second end.

  • Publication number: 20220004953
Abstract: A multi-factor method of optimizing a quantity of inks in a spot color ink inventory associated with an ink inventory management system is provided. An electronic device performs the steps of: importing a first set of spot color data from the ink stock management system, setting a color tolerance, obtaining color differences between spectral information of pairs of color references in the first set of spot color data, identifying color references meeting a first replacement factor of having a color difference within tolerance of another color reference, designating a second color reference as a replacement for a first color reference if at least one second replacement factor is met, and exporting a second set of spot color data including the designated replacement reference colors. The step of obtaining color differences may comprise calculating a color difference value ?E between pairs of color references.

  • Patent number: 7961320
Abstract: Color management systems and methods are provided wherein operations associated with an individual color measurement instrument are integrated into system-level operating software. Color measurement-related information associated with or derived from such color measurement instrument, e.g., color measurements, instrument-related messages (e.g., error messages), instrument status and the like, is automatically broadcast to other programs, instruments and/or applications that are adapted/registered to listen for and receive such broadcasts. An operating system program that includes, defines or interacts with an OS notification center facilitates communication with the ancillary programs, instruments or applications. Two way communications by way of the OS notification center are also facilitated.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: June 14, 2011
    Assignee: X-Rite, Inc.
