  • Publication number: 20230095360
Abstract: A mower cutting unit lift system includes a rotary motor connected to a power supply and turning an output shaft connected to a bell crank. A flexible link between the bell crank and a lift arm is used to lift a cutting unit to a transport position if the rotary motor turns the output shaft and the bell crank in a first direction, and lower the cutting unit to a mowing position if the rotary motor turns the output shaft and the bell crank in a second direction.

  • Patent number: 11212960
Abstract: A pair of reel mower cutting unit steering limiters including a pair of pivoting members that may be independently pivoted between an engaged position providing a full range of steering of a reel mower cutting unit in a first direction on a vertical yaw axis, and a disengaged position reducing the steering of the reel mower cutting unit in the first direction. The maximum steering angle may be independently adjustable in each direction.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 13, 2018
Date of Patent: January 4, 2022
    Assignee: DEERE & COMPANY

  • Patent number: 10390488
Abstract: A triplex greensmower lift system includes a yoke mount attached to a reel cutting unit forwardly and below a center of gravity of the reel cutting unit, an upper lift arm attached to the yoke mount and extending rearwardly behind the reel cutting unit to a horizontal pivot axis on a lower lift arm located at a height between a top of the reel cutting unit and the center of gravity of the reel cutting unit, and a spring connected to the upper lift arm and biasing the upper lift arm upwardly and rearwardly to reduce ground pressure on the reel cutting unit.

  • Patent number: 10206321
Abstract: An aerator with variable delay of the coring head includes a lift/lower control on an aerator control panel that raises and lowers a coring head and starts or discontinues rotation of a coring head crankshaft that reciprocates a plurality of coring tines. A delay timer provides a variable time period between starting to raise or lower the coring head and the rotation of the crankshaft. A switch is provided on the control panel to preset the time period.

  • Patent number: 9924623
Abstract: An aerator tine holder includes a clamp block removably attached to a base. Each of the clamp block and the base have a plurality of semicylindrical channels that when attached together form a plurality of cylindrical bores holding cylindrical tines. One or more magnets in the base and/or clamp block may be used to position the tines while the clamp block is removed from the base.
