  • Patent number: 9550306
Abstract: An apparatus and method is provided for single transfer insert placement. The apparatus receives continuous web material and cuts a discrete section or pad from the web. The pad is then supported on a single transfer surface. The single transfer surface then may spin the supported pad to a desired angle and provide the pad to a receiving surface at a desired interval. The web material can be cut to different insert lengths and the placement location varied.

  • Publication number: 20160152422
Abstract: A bin sweep system for moving particulate material in a bin may comprise an elongated sweep apparatus having a particulate sweep structure configured to move particulate material on the floor beneath the sweep apparatus toward one end of the elongated sweep apparatus. The particulate sweep structure may include a plurality of interconnected paddles movable in a succession on a path along at least a portion of a length of the sweep apparatus and an endless loop member on which the paddles of the plurality of paddles are mounted at spaced locations for moving the paddles along the path. The path of the paddles on the endless loop may generally lie in a movement plane, and an orientation of the movement plane may be tilted such that the movement plane is not in a vertical orientation and not in a horizontal orientation.

  • Patent number: 9303405
Abstract: A modular truss system includes an upper chord and a lower chord. Each of the upper and lower chords has a pair of terminal ends and each of the upper and lower chords is arcuate between associated ones of the pair of terminal ends. A plurality of branches is removably attached to and extends between the upper and lower chords. Each of the branches has a first end and a second end comprising a saddle that receives one of the upper or lower chords at a fixed angle with respect to the upper and lower chords. The saddles ensure the branches are properly placed on the upper and lower chords.

  • Patent number: 9185886
Abstract: A livestock animal scale platform includes a panel that has a top side, a bottom side, a front edge, a rear edge, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. A plurality of lateral supports is mounted on the top side and extends from the first lateral edge to the second lateral edge. A plurality of longitudinal supports is mounted on the bottom side and extends from the front edge to the rear edge. A plurality of fasteners extends through the panel and each of the fasteners engages one of the lateral supports and one of the longitudinal supports. A barrier coating is positioned on and covers entirely the top side. The panel is placed upon one or more load cells to measure a weight of an animal standing on the panel.

  • Patent number: 9101051
Abstract: A utility component mounting assembly configured to be assembled and installed during building construction or remodeling and to provide access to a variety of residential, commercial, and/or industrial utilities in a manner that is unobtrusive and aesthetically appealing. In some aspects, the utility component mounting assembly is assembled and installed such that there is little or no outward protrusion of any portion of the assembly from a generally planar wall surface. The assembly provides the ability to apply the same final finishing materials to exposed portions of the assembly as to adjacent wall material. The assembly can be readily installed with existing building constructions materials, tools, and skills. The assembly can be mounted in flexible locations on a wall and in a vertical or horizontal orientation.

  • Patent number: 8850758
Abstract: A granular material storage capacity increasing device and system includes a housing including a plurality of roof trusses each including an inner chord. A plurality of panels is attached to the roof structure. Each of the panels extends between and is attached to adjacently positioned ones of the inner chords. Each of the panels is elongated and has a first end, a second end, an upper edge and a lower edge. An upper bend is positioned adjacent to the upper edge and defines an upper flange including the upper edge. A lower bend is positioned adjacent to the lower edge and defines lower flange including the lower edge. A primary bend is positioned between the upper and lower bends. The upper and lower flanges are attached to the inner chord. The primary bend is spaced further from the inner chord than the upper and lower bends.

  • Publication number: 20140279395
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing credit decisions using the least cost necessary to access data sources. A lending institution can create custom credit decisioning rules which use only the data needed to grant or deny credit. Credit decision data sources are optimized for cost or likelihood of success to provide the lowest overall cost for the credit query. Embodiments allow for early identification of denial or approval of credit and also for identification of various credit products or packages.

  • Publication number: 20130277154
Abstract: A series of elastic break brakes are provided throughout a travel path of elastics in a machine operation. Elastic strands thread through each individual brake mechanism, and if an elastic strand breaks downstream, a natural snap back of the elastic, which ordinarily travels through the system under tension, drives an immediately upstream cam mechanism back, and holds the elastic thread in place at the elastic break brake immediately upstream of the break as to minimize rethreading required downstream of the elastic break brake.

  • Patent number: 8475762
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing an evenly mixed additive enhanced gypsum slurry to a web. Calcined gypsum and water are inserted into a mixer through at least one inlet of the mixer. The contents are agitated to form a slurry. The slurry is passed from an outlet of the mixer into a conduit. An additive is introduced into the slurry along a length of the conduit to achieve a flow stream of a slurry/additive mixture. A cross section of the flow stream is expanded in the conduit while not changing direction of the flow stream and a direction of the flow stream is changed while not expanding the cross section of the flow stream and conduit, all prior to the flow steam exiting from an outlet of the conduit.

  • Patent number: RE45182
Abstract: A way to attach a trampoline enclosure to a trampoline frame is described. This process involving constructing the enclosure with a buttonhole at or near its bottom edge. This buttonhole is designed to receive a spring attachment feature located on the rebounding mat of the trampoline structure. Generally, this spring attachment feature will be the D-ring (or V-ring) that is used to attach the rebounding mat to the springs. The D-ring will pass through the buttonhole and, when connected to a corresponding spring, will securely attach the trampoline enclosure to the trampoline.
