  • Patent number: 11558584
Abstract: Techniques for providing real-time vehicle surveillance is disclosed. An in-vehicle surveillance device continuously captures images from the surroundings of a vehicle and the interior of the vehicle and transmits them to a surveillance management system. The images are processed in real-time using machine learning modules to determine primary, secondary, and adverse events. Upon determining the events, alerts are generated and sent to a display unit provided on the in-vehicle surveillance device to improve the safety of the passengers. The techniques further allow vehicle-to-vehicle communication and vehicle to third party device communication upon determining an event.

  • Publication number: 20200120311
Abstract: An interior vehicle based imaging system that provides multiple real time and archival video images. The imaging system captures image data from a central multi-camera platform within the vehicle's rearview mirror. Image processes and process data storage via wireless communication links to internet cloud based archival storage and retrieval are provided. Optimal vehicle interior and exterior viewing angles are achieved to provide a complete visual documentation of the vehicle's environment including its occupant in a real time and accessible documentation record.

  • Publication number: 20050267920
Abstract: A data archiving system according to the invention can be deployed in a clustered network environment to perform archiving, backup, and restoring of data for clustered applications supported by the network. The archiving system generally includes an archiving server application resident at a first node, a virtual client application resident at the first node, and archiving client applications resident at other nodes within the network. The archiving server application, using the virtual client application, determines the physical location of a clustered application prior to (and, in one practical embodiment, during) the actual backup procedure. The physical location of the clustered application is processed to access a set of backup configuration files stored by the virtual client application. The backup configuration files contain information related to the manner in which the clustered application should be archived and/or restored.
