  • Publication number: 20200010989
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composite membrane (10) comprising a fibrous fabric (1) of nanofibres (11), wherein the thickness of the fabric (1) is between 10 nm and 50 ?m and said fabric is impregnated with a wetting liquid (A). According to the invention, the composite membrane is immersed in a second fluid (B) which is immiscible with the wetting liquid (A), forming an A/B interface between the wetting liquid (A) and the immiscible fluid (B), and the composite membrane is capable of remaining tensioned when it is compressed from its resting state until reaching dimensions corresponding to 5% of its dimensions in the resting state, and when it is stretched from its compressed state until reaching dimensions corresponding to 2000% of the length in the compressed state. The present invention also relates to a process for manufacturing such a membrane.

  • Patent number: 9972817
Abstract: A method for producing a waterproof and ion-conducting flexible membrane intended for protecting a metal electrode. It comprises a synthesis by electrically assisted extrusion of compact fibers forming an ion-conducting fiber array comprising a first material. The fiber array defines a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. Subsequently, the fiber array is impregnated with a polymer of a second material, to form a metal electrode protection membrane. The fiber array forms paths for conducting ions between the first surface and the second surface and through the second material. The first surface is intended to be in contact with the metal electrode.

  • Publication number: 20090155693
Abstract: A method of preparing a dispersed solution of carbon-containing particles of nanometric size includes: preparing a polymeric matrix of a determined viscosity, then introducing into the matrix a fraction of carbon-containing particles and a fraction of wetting agent, the solvent of the matrix, and maintaining under agitation until a sol of stable viscosity is obtained, these operations being repeated until the carbon-containing particles and the solvent are exhausted. The dispersal solution includes: in a ratio to the total volume of solution: i) 1% to 4%, preferably 2% to 4% (m/v), of carbon-containing particles in suspension, ii) 20% to 40% (v/v) of a polymeric matrix, and iii) a wetting agent, the solvent of the polymeric matrix, said dispersed solution comprising neither binder nor dispersing agent.
