  • Patent number: 5115544
Abstract: A method for producing a non-woven fabric having specific designed patterns in designated areas is shown. The method requires the use of a fine-mesh woven screen of metal or plastic threads. The desired patterns may be pressed onto the screen to form raised indentations. Alternatively, they may be attached or extruded thereon, or woven or stitched thereinto. The non-woven fabrics produced, using the screens in place of those typically found on a non-woven fabric production apparatus, will have patterns corresponding to those on the screen.
