  • Patent number: 8243286
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for the contactless detection of a three-dimensional contour, comprising a projector with an imaging element and a projection lens for depicting a stripe pattern that is generated on the imaging element in an object space. The invention further comprises a camera arrangement for the surveillance of the object space from two different directions, having two camera lenses. The projector and the camera arrangement are housed together in a measurement head that can be handheld. The invention further relates to a method for detecting a three-dimensional contour using said device.

  • Patent number: 7216669
Abstract: A pressure regulating valve for regulating the pressure in a common rail with a pistonlike valve member which is guided axially displaceably in a bore and acts in the closing direction on a closing element and presses it against a valve seat; the valve member forms an armature of an electromagnet to which electrical current can be supplied. The opening cross section of the inlet of the pressure regulating valve is designed such that the pressure regulating valve cannot be opened until beyond a predetermined minimum fuel pressure greater than or equal two 250 bar. In this way, even if the electromagnetic closing force fails, a minimum pressure at the valve outlet is generated and thus makes an injection event possible.

  • Publication number: 20060272617
Abstract: A pressure regulating valve for a reservoir-type fuel injection system for internal combustion engines serves to regulate the pressure in a fuel reservoir (common rail). The pressure regulating valve is designed in simplified form; the fuel reservoir is embodied as a closed reservoir and its supply and return lines are disposed inside a liquid level in such a way that without further action by the pressure regulating valve, it is not possible for the fuel reservoir to run empty.

  • Patent number: 7121264
Abstract: A fuel injection system for internal combustion engines including a high-pressure reservoir which is acted upon by fuel at high pressure via a high-pressure feed unit and supplies fuel injectors with fuel. The high-pressure feed unit is assigned a pressure regulating valve which is disposed between a high-pressure side and a low-pressure side and includes a valve element which is triggerable via an electrical final control element. The pressure regulating valve includes a housing component which includes a deformable region by way of which, upon mounting of the pressure regulating valve on a receiving body, a gap L between faces of an electrically triggerable final control element assembly is adjustable.

  • Patent number: 7080818
Abstract: A pressure regulating valve, for regulating the pressure in a common rail, having a pistonlike valve member guided axially displaceably in a bore, which valve member acts on a closing element which can be pressed against a valve seat, and the valve member forms an armature of an electromagnet that can be supplied with current. The armature of the electromagnet is embodied as a permanent magnet, or the electromagnet surrounding the armature is connected to a permanent magnet likewise acting on the armature, so that even in the state without current, a magnetic force acts on the valve member. In this way, even in the event of a failure of the electromagnetic regulation, a pressure is generated at the valve outlet. In the state when current is supplied, the closing force of the valve can be regulated over the entire pressure range.

  • Publication number: 20050166898
Abstract: A fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine and to a cylinder head for such a fuel injection system, in which a central fuel reservoir is provided between a feed pump and a plurality of injectors to be supplied with fuel, which each communicate with the central fuel reservoir via respective high-pressure lines, and the injectors are mounted in a cylinder head of the engine for injecting fuel into a plurality of combustion chambers, and the fuel reservoir and/or the high-pressure lines are at least partly integrated into the cylinder head of the engine.

  • Publication number: 20050079029
Abstract: Screw elements used in screw connections are embodied in such a way that the incident notch tensions are distributed as uniformly as possible over the entire length of the screw. One of the screw elements involved in the screw connection has a thread pitch (G1) which over at least a portion of the screw fastening length differs from the thread pitch (G2) in the remainder of the screw fastening length.

  • Publication number: 20050056803
Abstract: A pressure-control valve for regulating the pressure in a fuel accumulator having a piston-shaped valve member guided axially displaceable in a bore and acts on a closing element which can be pressed against a valve seat. The valve member constitutes an armature of an electromagnet which can be supplied with electrical current. The valve is additionally equipped with a mechanical spring which presses the valve member in the direction toward the valve seat and whose initial spring tension is such that the spring pressure corresponds to the maximum desired pressure in the fuel accumulator. In this way a pressure is generated at the valve outlet and therefore an injection process is made possible, even in case of a failure of the electromagnetic regulation.
