Abstract: A system (1000) feeds substances to a patient (30) with a ventilation of the patient and with an oxygenation of the patient. The system (1000) has at least one ventilation system (1), a sedation by inhalation system (17) with a dispensing system (7), an oxygenation system (2), a breathing gas dispensing path (3), a purge gas dispensing path (4), a breathing gas connection system (5), a connection element (25) located adjacent to the patient, an oxygenation connection system (6) and a switching unit (8). The switching unit (8) is configured to distribute and to split a quantity of an inhalable substance dispensed into a gas mixture by means of the dispensing system (7) between the connection element (25) located adjacent to the patient and the oxygenation system (2). At least one control unit (9, 10, 11, 12) is configured to control the switching unit (8) and/or the system (1000).

  • Patent number: 9635974
Abstract: According to a method for preparing and dispensing milk foam a drink made of powdered milk of self-dissolving drink preparation powder, improved milk foam not directly consumed from a preparation vessel (6) is intended to be foamed easily. To this end, at least one hot water stream (2a) is applied to the milk powder or drink preparation powder in the above open or opened preparation vessel (6), in particular a foaming vessel, said hot water stream flowing out of a hot water channel under hot water pressure. The preparation vessel (6) is fixed. The milk foam (22) or drink so prepared in the preparation vessel automatically flows, i.e. merely by way of the effect of the hot water stream and the force of gravity, from the preparation vessel (6) through a laterally and/or downwardly led discharge of the preparation vessel or through an outlet spout to a collection vessel (4), preferably a cup or a glass.

  • Patent number: 8991304
Abstract: A brewing unit (1) of an espresso coffee machine including a brewing chamber (25) and at least one spring-loaded pressure valve (16) which is flow-technically arranged between the brewing chamber (25) and a coffee beverage outlet and which opens when the brewing chamber pressure exceeds a structurally predetermined value. In order to produce by means of the coffee machine one kind of coffee beverage selected from at least two kinds of coffee beverages, an atmospheric coffee beverage bypass channel (21) flow-wisely disposed in parallel relative to the pressure valve (16) between the brewing chamber (25) and the coffee beverage outlet (23) may be locked depending on the kind of coffee beverage selected.
