  • Patent number: 12008306
Abstract: A method for rendering linked content in a first document is described. A first user entry of a first link in the first document is received at a computing device. The first link refers to a first set of content having a source location that is external to the first user entry. The first set of content is displayed with a first display format of the source location in a user interface that displays the first document. Displaying the first set of content includes retrieving, by the computing device, the first set of content using the first link. Displaying the first set of content also includes updating the user interface to display both the first set of content and a second set of content that is distinct from the first set of content.

  • Patent number: 11995206
Abstract: A breach detection engine detects and mitigates the effects of breaches across one or more data sources. An index is generated based on one or more data sources and the index is queried using keywords indicative of potential breaches. A database of potential breaches is populated based on the query of the index. The potential breach database is queried using keywords associated with a system identity (e.g., a third party). A likelihood of a candidate breach is identified based on a set of breach criteria weights. A network node associated with a candidate breach determined to be an actual breach is identified for isolation or for the performance of one or more additional security actions.

  • Patent number: 11978159
Abstract: A cross reality system that provides an immersive user experience by storing persistent spatial information about the physical world that one or multiple user devices can access to determine position within the physical world and that applications can access to specify the position of virtual objects within the physical world. Persistent spatial information enables users to have a shared virtual, as well as physical, experience when interacting with the cross reality system. Further, persistent spatial information may be used in maps of the physical world, enabling one or multiple devices to access and localize into previously stored maps, reducing the need to map a physical space before using the cross reality system in it. Persistent spatial information may be stored as persistent coordinate frames, which may include a transformation relative to a reference orientation and information derived from images in a location corresponding to the persistent coordinate frame.

  • Patent number: 11960426
Abstract: Concurrent servicing of a first cable of a cable pair while a second cable of the cable pair remains operational improves multi-processor computer system availability and serviceability. A pair of processing chips in different processing drawers may continue operation by way of the second cable while the first cable is degraded or serviced. Upon the servicing of the first cable, the serviced cable may transition to a fully operational state with no interruptions to the operations between the processing drawers by way of the second cable. Since cable faults are typically more common than processing chip or processing drawer faults, identification of cable faults and the ability to maintain operations of the processing drawers connected therewith is increasingly important.

  • Publication number: 20230139940
Abstract: A retractable drill chuck system that is capable of being attached to a drill and drill bit; it can detect the initial breakthrough of the drill bit in a material and is capable of retracting the drill bit right as the drill bit breaks through the material; it has torque, force, and acceleration sensors to detect the breakthrough event of a drill bit; it also has an electromechanical mechanism to retract the drill bit from the material once the breakthrough event has been detected by the system; the retraction mechanism has a permanent magnet holding solenoid that, when activated, releases stored mechanical energy to allow the drill bit to be retracted.

  • Patent number: 11593127
Abstract: In one or more embodiments, a system generates a navigable interface for traversing sets of content based on system-determined relationships between the sets of content. The system uses a trained machine learning model to determine characteristics, such as layout, for sets of content. The characteristics are mapped to a content type. The system organizes the sets of content, based on respective content type, into a set of pages of a multipage navigable interface. Furthermore, the system selects navigational relationships between the sets of content based on respective content type. The navigational relationships are implemented via interface elements that allow for navigation between the pages of the navigable interface including corresponding sets of content.

  • Publication number: 20220299685
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a low-angle blazed grating on a semiconductor or silicon substrate, includes spin-coating the substrate with resist layer or hydrogen or polysilsesquioxane, being 100-1000 nm or few hundred nanometers thick, applying grayscale irradiation lithography exposure to the resist layer, generating a dose modulated pattern therein, varying in response to absorbed energy density from irradiation lithography exposure. The coated, irradiated substrate is developed in solution, such as TMAH or NaOH, enabling a blazed profile having structures of thickness-dependent diffusion barriers or SiO2, with 0-1000 nm height to emerge. Thermal oxidation in oxygen atmosphere at elevated temperature with the developed substrate, converts the upper silicon substrate layer into SiO2 to a depth depending on the thickness of the pattern in the resist layer above. Hydrofluoric acid fluid removes the SiO2, creating low-angle low-roughness blazed grating structure on silicon substrate.
