  • Patent number: 9709100
Abstract: A component that is to be mounted so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation and transmits torque along with a rotating partner includes a first serration that extends about the axis of rotation and is to mesh with the rotating partner which has an adequate second serration mating with the first serration. The first serration has a plurality of teeth which have tooth tips extending substantially in the direction of the axis of rotation and tooth valleys located between the tooth tips. The tooth tips of the first serration each have a meshing edge forming a first line, while the tooth valleys located between the teeth each define a second line. At least two adjacent second lines intersect at an imaginary point lying between the axis of rotation and the maximum circumference of the first serration, in the semicircular surface beyond the axis of rotation.

  • Patent number: 8544591
Abstract: The subject matter of the present invention is a bearing device for the vibrationally decoupled rotary mounting of an intermediate shaft on the engine block of a motor vehicle. It has the following features: a. a radial bearing with an inner ring for accommodating the intermediate shaft, and an outer ring, b. a bearing housing provided for attachment on the engine block of the motor vehicle and for accommodating the radial bearing in a non-rotatable manner, and which forms a mechanical interface for the attachment of the bearing housing on the engine block of the motor vehicle, wherein the bearing device further comprises at least one rubber-elastic damper member provided to be disposed in a vibration-damping way between the bearing housing and the engine block when the bearing housing is mounted on the engine block.

  • Patent number: 8231475
Abstract: The constant velocity pivot joint includes an outer joint part (12), an inner joint part (14) and rollers (28) disposed between the outer joint part (12) and the inner joint part (14). The rollers (28) each comprise an inner ring (48) with an inner roller surface (54) and an outer ring (42) with an outer roller surface (56). A plurality of rolling members (46) is disposed between the inner ring (48) and outer ring (42) so that the outer ring (42) can roll off on the inner ring (48). The inner ring (48) forms an axial guide, which fixes the position of the rolling members (46) relative to the inner ring (48) in the axial direction. Furthermore, an inner ring (48) and the outer ring (42) are axially displaceable relative to each other to a limited extent.

  • Patent number: 8038540
Abstract: The apparatus relates to a vibration absorber for mounting onto the outer circumference of a rotating shaft or axis having an inner part (3) of substantially resilient material for abutting against the outer circumference of the shaft or axis, and an outer part (2, 2?), which comprises at least two segments (2, 2a, 2b), that grips around the inner part and abuts it vibratingly, and serves as an inertial mass member. The segments (2, 2a, 2b) are configured at their two ends in the circumferential direction with connecting members (5a, 5b, 5a?, 5b?, 6a, 6b, 6a?, 6b?) formed integrally therewith for establishing a mutual latching connection.
