  • Publication number: 20220153907
Abstract: Polymers include a monomer with a polyurethane, a supramolecular moiety, an elastomer moiety and a functional group that includes a —C?N— link. The polymers can be prepared and incorporated into a composition. The polymers can be double dynamic polymers, which present adhesive and self-healing properties. The polymers can also be recyclable.

  • Publication number: 20050013472
Abstract: A system (10) for identifying pieces of lumber (L), comprising an identifying apparatus (12) having an imaging device (22, 100) to obtain images and a database (24) to record the images. The identifying apparatus (12) is adapted for identifying pieces of lumber (L). The system (10) is adapted for being connected to at least one of a data source (16, 126, 128) for receiving qualitative data on pieces of lumber (L) and an output destination (18, 130) to transfer at least an identification of a piece of lumber (L) thereto.

  • Patent number: 6755076
Abstract: The measuring device includes a first measuring chamber (8) into which fuel is injected, pressure sensor (62) and a temperature sensor (60) respectively measuring pressure and temperature in the first measuring chamber (8), devices enabling the measuring chamber to be at least partially drained, an electronic section controlling the system and analyzing information received from the sensors (46, 60, 62). The device also includes a second measuring chamber (20) arranged downstream from the first measuring chamber (8). Fuel which is drained from the first measuring chamber (8) is sent to said second chamber. The volume of the second measuring chamber (20) can vary according to the displacement of a piston (38). The displacement is measured with the aid of a displacement sensor (46).

  • Patent number: 6103980
Abstract: An electrical switch, in particular for controlling the lighting and signalling means of a motor vehicle, the switch comprising a housing (10) which houses a switch (200), and a lever (100) which includes a controller (120, 140, 160) that are mounted to be displaced relative to the housing (10) in at least two pivoting motions which are generally mutually crossed (I, II) and in rotary motion (III) about the axis (162) of the lever (100) in order to control respective ones of at least three basic electrical functions, the switch being characterized by the fact that the switch (200) comprise a single slide (220) which is mounted to be displaced in a plane, and a connector (166, 222; 124, 224) ensuring functional connection between the controller (120, 140, 160) of the lever (100) and the slide (220), so that the slide (220) is subjected to a specific kind of displacement for each of the three kinds of displacement of the lever (100), and is capable of ensuring respective electrical functions without disturbing

  • Patent number: 4880945
Abstract: An electric switch cooperating with a steering wheel shaft provided with a control cam for controlling change of direction indicators of a motor vehicle includes a support casing and a control lever pivotally mounted on the support casing about a first pivot axis and a reversing plate pivotally mounted on the support about a second axis parallel to the first pivot axis. The lever includes an indexing stud which cooperates with a notched surface on the support casing. The reversing plate is resiliently urged toward the steering wheel shaft and faces the control cam to move relative to the second axis away from the control cam. Drive structures are provided on the reversing plate for cooperation with the lever so that the reversing plate is pivoted about the second axis into a working position when the control lever is itself pivoted about the first axis into a working position.

  • Patent number: 4368486
Abstract: Television system using a marking code superimposed on a picture.According to the invention, this code is constituted by a strip located in the right-hand part of the picture and formed by a periodic sequence of white and black areas constituting a clock and by a strip located in the left-hand part of the picture and formed by a sequence of white or black areas constituting the actual code. A decoder detects the presence of clock signals and compares the code received with stored codes.
