    Abstract: Automatic sorting machine for treating objects of various shapes and sizes. According to the invention, the installation comprises a conveyor-distributor arranged on top of a certain number of reception locations and carrying first object supports forming grippers, and a conveyor-elevator provided with a plurality of second object supports and arranged under the conveyor-distributor in order to present objects to different gripper-forming object supports. The automatic sorting applies especially to the automatic sorting of pockets and small bags.
