  • Patent number: 11872653
Abstract: An apparatus for orienting and positioning a workpiece (4) relative to a laser beam (3) of a laser processing machine is proposed. The apparatus is equipped with an apparatus base (5), with a workpiece locating device (6) which receives the workpiece (4) to be machined and with a movement device (7) exhibiting at least three axes which moves the workpiece locating device (6) relative to the apparatus base (5). The movement device (7) is equipped with a rigid body (12) and with a first rotary drive which generates a torque around an axis of rotation B and drives the rigid body (12) to rotate around the axis of rotation B relative to the machine base (5). On the rigid body (12) is arranged a first linear drive which displaces a first carriage (13) on the rigid body (12) along the axis Xw.

  • Patent number: 9878410
Abstract: A device for centering a longitudinal workpiece fixed on a spindle includes a support body linearly displaced along a support body axis. The support body and support body axis are aligned substantially parallel to an axis of rotation of the spindle. A first support element movably arranged on the body supports the workpiece or a workpiece receiving part, and a second support element movably arranged on the body supports the workpiece or a workpiece receiving part. The first support element can be linearly displaced in a first direction and is rotatably arranged about a first axis of rotation on the support body and the second support element can be linearly displaced in a second direction different from the first direction and is rotatably arranged about a second axis of rotation on the support body.

  • Publication number: 20160023313
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for workpiece centring for a longitudinal workpiece (2) that is fixed on a spindle (1), comprising a support body (11, 47, 73, 103), which can be linearly displaced along a support body axis (7), wherein the support body (11, 47, 73, 103) and the support body axis (7) can be aligned substantially parallel to an axis of rotation (8) of the spindle (1), a first support element (9, 45, 71, 91, 111) which is movably arranged on the body and which supports, from a first side, the workpiece (2) or a workpiece receiving part (60) that receives the workpiece (2), and a second support element (10, 46, 72, 92, 112) which is movably arranged on the body and which supports, from a second side, the workpiece (2) or a workpiece receiving part (60) that receives the workpiece (2), wherein the first support element (9, 45, 71, 91, 111) can be linearly displaced in a first direction of displacement (23, 48) and is rotatably arranged about a first axis of rotation (23a, 48a) on the support body (11, 47, 7

  • Publication number: 20140008341
Abstract: A method for machining a workpiece is proposed where a laser beam and/or a workpiece are moved relative to each other and a cutting edge is produced on the workpiece by means of the removal of material by laser ablation. First, initial alignment of the workpiece (1) and/or the laser beam (2) relative to each is performed. Then an initial removal of material from the workpiece (1) by the laser beam (2) is carried out. An initial section (4) of the workpiece (1) is removed. Then the alignment of the workpiece (1) and laser beam (2) relative to each other is changed. The second alignment process performed differs from the first alignment process of the workpiece (1) and laser beam (2) relative to each other. In a second removal of material from the workpiece (1) a second section (12, 18, 24) of the workpiece (1) is removed with the laser beam (2?, 2?, 2??). The cutting edge (16, 23, 29) is produced at the end of the second material removal process.

  • Patent number: 5628562
Abstract: The multi-component mixer is characterized by great simplicity of manufacture, use and mounting in the installation. A semi-rigid tube is fitted onto two joining pieces held by two collars. Components of the product to be mixed enter the tube at one end, and after stirring takes place, the product, ready to use, is discharged at the other end.
