Abstract: Coordinated with the detectors of a computer system for tomography is a multimicroprocessor which contains a computer module with a microprocessor as well as coupling, program, and data memories for each individual detector. Coordinated with the identical computer modules is one common control computer which carries out the individual phases of the image reconstruction in a three-phase operation (SMS system) permitting a transverse body section in which the information from each of the scans is processed simultaneously to be constructed in only a few seconds.

Abstract: A computer system comprises a control or supervisory computer and a plurality of individual computers which are connected to and cooperate with each other under control of a process which establishes a three phase operation. In a control phase only the control computer operates, executes its program and informs the individual computers which function they must carry out during the next phase, the autonomous phase. In the autonomous phase the individual computers simultaneously and independently fulfill their assigned functions and report completion thereof to the control computer. Finally, a communication phase is utilized for a data exchange between the computers.

Abstract: A switching arrangement for remote-controlled electrical loads employing command transmitters, each of which is operatively connected to a switching device for control of a load over cooperable coder and decoders which are connected by electric lines, with the coded signal being supplied over a transmission channel to the decoder which converts the coded signal into a switching signal, operative to actuate the switching device with the construction being such that standardizable components and connection lines may be utilized in the system.
