  • Publication number: 20230209038
Abstract: A head-mountable display device for displaying an image received from a microscope comprises a first display configured to display a first image of a part of an object, the first image received from a microscope. Further, the head-mountable display device comprises a first optical arrangement located in front of the first display. The first optical arrangement comprises at least one lens. Additionally, the head-mountable display device comprises a mounting structure configured to fasten the first display to the head of a user. The head-mountable display device is configured to allow a direct line of sight from a first eye of the user to the object in a field of view of the user outside of the first display while the user is watching the first display through the first optical arrangement, if the mounting structure is fastened to the head of a user. An angle between a display direction and the direct line of sight is less than 50° and the display direction is orthogonal to the first display.

  • Patent number: 10185136
Abstract: The invention relates to a eucentric digital microscope (10) that encompasses a stationary stand body (12) and a pivot unit (14) mounted pivotably on the stand body (12), the pivot unit (14) being mounted rotatably around a rotation axis (26) extending in a Y direction. The pivot unit (14) encompasses at least an optical system having an optical axis (15) extending orthogonally to the rotation axis (26), and a focal plane (92), the pivot unit (14) being arranged nondisplaceably at least in an X direction and in a Z direction relative to the rotation axis (26).

  • Patent number: 10018821
Abstract: A digital microscope includes a stationary stand body (12) and a pivot unit (14) mounted on a shaft (24) of the stand body (12), pivotably about a longitudinal axis (26) of the shaft (24). The pivot unit (14) has an image sensing unit for acquiring images of objects to be examined microscopically. Microscope (10) furthermore has a brake unit (22) for braking and/or immobilizing the pivot unit (14), the brake unit (22) including at least one brake element (32 to 38) biased by an elastic element (40) into a braked position. Microscope (10) includes an actuation element (44) for releasing the brake unit (22), the brake element (32 to 38) being movable by manual actuation of the actuation element (44), against return force of the elastic element (40), from the braked position into a released position, and the actuation element (44) being coupled to the brake element (32 to 38).

The pivot unit (14) includes an image sensing unit for acquiring images of objects. The microscope has a brake unit (22) for braking and/or immobilizing the pivot unit (14), and an actuation element (44) for releasing the brake unit (22). The pivot unit (14) includes a first connecting element (60) and the stand body (12) has a second connecting element (62). The first and second connecting elements (60, 62) are coupled to one another when the pivot unit (14) is in a predetermined zero position and the actuation element (44) is in an unactuated default position. The connecting elements (60, 62) are moreover coupled to one another when the pivot unit (14) is in the zero position and the actuation element (44) is actuated within a predetermined actuation range.
