  • Patent number: 7469130
Abstract: A polar modulator contains a first input for supplying an amplitude modulation word and a second input for supplying a phase modulation word. The first input is connected to a first signal path, and the second input is connected to a second signal path. The polar modulator contains a converter having a first input which is connected to a first signal path and having a second input which is connected to the second signal path. In this case, the converter is configured to output a radio-frequency signal derived from the phase modulation word and the amplitude modulation word. A feedback path has a level detector connected to the converter and has its output side connected to a correction device. The correction device is designed to output a correction word to the first signal path on the basis of a signal which is output by the level detector.

  • Publication number: 20070198190
Abstract: A utility vehicle has an electronically controlled drive train which has at least one drive unit, one steering system and one braking system. In addition, the motor vehicle has a maneuvering assistance system with a display device, an input device and a control system. The display device displays an actual orientation and an actual position of the vehicle as well as the relatively close surroundings of the vehicle on a monitor. The input device inputs a desired orientation and a desired position for the vehicle. The control system processes a maneuvering algorithm and at the same time actuates the drive train to transfer the vehicle from its actual orientation and actual position into its desired orientation and desired position taking into account the vehicle surroundings.

  • Publication number: 20060237996
Abstract: A motor vehicle body includes a support structure made of large-sized partial modules. A roof module has front and rear roof columns placed onto a basic module approximately level with a side wall edge of the body, and the front and rear roof columns of the roof module are connected to one another via a respectively assigned cross member. In order to provide a support structure having a basic module for different roof structures, and to make the support structure very stiff with the roof module, the rear roof columns are connected to each other via a supporting plate of a rear parcel shelf which is stiffened by the assigned cross member.

  • Publication number: 20060175871
Abstract: A motor vehicle body, having a roof module which is placed onto a support structure and is adjoined by a lid (engine hood) for closing a space (engine compartment on an end region of the body, the lid being held on the body via a bearing arrangement in the vicinity of the roof module. In order to position the lid in relation to the adjacent roof module with relatively little technical outlay, the bearing arrangement is arranged directly on the roof module and can therefore already be prefitted to the roof module before the roof module is placed onto the support structure.

  • Patent number: 7072753
Abstract: The invention relates to a hazard-prevention system for a vehicle. The vehicle has devices for sensing driving state variables, for sensing ambient data and for sensing the driver's activity, and a data processing device. The data processing device is provided for processing the sensed data and for actuating a safety device in accordance with a predefined control strategy. According to the invention, the vehicle has a device for identifying the driver, and the data processing device derives a driver load factor related specifically to the driver from the driving state variables, the ambient data and the data relating to the activity of the driver, and said driver load factor is used to adapt the control strategy.
