Abstract: A method which facilitates the offering and subscription to infoservices and sending of information to subscribers based on web feeds is disclosed. In an embodiment of the invention only a link is placed on a website allowing any visitor/readers to subscribe to receive newly published content of that website, without the owner of that website having to take any additional steps to offer this infoservice. Subscribers can choose which messages they want to receive, for example only messages which are linked to certain tags or contain certain keywords, and how they should be delivered, for example by email, mobile, news page or web feed. The central infoservices platform additionally allows publishers of the infoservice's underlying web feed to prove ownership of the infoservice's underlying website or web feed, and providing publishers access to the collected information about subscribers of the infoservice.

Abstract: Methods and systems for managing subscription processes, and setting subscribers to active and thereby sending subscribers future content, are disclosed. A method includes: receiving a first email address of a first subscriber and a second email address of a second subscriber; classifying the first subscriber into a first group based on a location of the first subscriber and the second subscriber into a second group based on a location of the second subscriber; sending a confirmation email including a confirmation button or link to the first email address of the first subscriber in the first group; and sending a content email to the second email address of the second subscriber in the second group, and avoiding sending the content email to the first email address of the first subscriber in the first group until receiving an indication that the first subscriber has selected the confirmation button or link.

Abstract: A method and system for saving of information or solutions by Solution Providers enabling quick retrieval of matching information or solutions to Solution Seekers, is disclosed. In an embodiment, Solution Seekers can click on a number of specifications, thereby expressing their individual situations, and only matching solutions for those specific situations are retrieved. Furthermore, relationships of specifications with respect to each other can be defined, such as mutually exclusive specifications or specification hierarchies, which ensure that only potentially relevant specifications are displayed to Solution Seekers, thereby further increasing the speed with which Solution Seekers can identify matching solutions. Also, Solution Seekers may set up unresolved problems, so that Solution Providers can identify for which situations no matching solutions exist yet so that those can be submitted.
