  • Patent number: 11865772
Abstract: A method for making a component at a device is disclosed. In an embodiment the device includes a powder depot, a work space and a laser, wherein the work space includes a powder bed and an assembly, and wherein the assembly includes a thermally insulating embedding mass and a heat conducting mold. In a further embodiment, the method includes fastening, by the assembly, an element at the work space and forming the component at the element by repeatedly moving, by a wiper, powder from the powder depot to the powder bed at the work space and heating, by a laser beam of the laser in an additive process, portions of the powder in the powder bed so that the component is built on the element, wherein the additive process comprises selective laser melting (SLM) or selective laser sintering (SLS), and wherein the embedding mass is independent and distinct from the powder and the component.

  • Publication number: 20230050651
Abstract: An apparatus for the regeneration of knee joint cartilages has a support housing on which a slide part is displaceably held. The slide part has a holding and/or supporting apparatus for a leg region below a knee joint of a leg. Furthermore, a controllable movement drive moves the slide part to and fro relative to the support housing along a predefinable adjustment path. The adjustment path is predefined such that a defined compressive/tensile loading can be applied to the knee joint. The holding and/or supporting apparatus is suitable for fixing a foot in a manner free from rotation on the slide part, and/or the support housing forms a leg support which is suitable for forming a continuous supporting surface from the foot as far as a thigh region.

  • Patent number: 9821048
Abstract: The present invention is related to a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence, whereby the amino acid sequence of the polypeptide is at least 80% identical to a stretch of consecutive amino acids of the region of HPGGT comprising an amino acid sequence corresponding to SEQ.ID.No. 1, whereby such region is defined by (a) amino acid positions 150 to 200 of the amino acid sequence according to SEQ.ID.No.1, or (b) amino acid positions 410 to 480 of the amino acid sequence according to SEQ.ID.No.1, and whereby the polypeptide is suitable to elicit an immune response which is capable of inhibiting the catalytic activity of HPGGT.
