  • Patent number: 11260715
Abstract: The invention relates to a chassis component having a base face which extends in a base face plane and an aperture for the introduction of a fixing means and two retention elements which are arranged at opposite sides of the aperture for retaining an eccentric element, wherein the retention elements are formed integrally and in a materially engaging manner from the base face of the chassis component, wherein the retention elements are displaced out of the base face by mechanical processing. The chassis component affords a simple ability to be produced and an increased service life during operation.

  • Publication number: 20200393218
Abstract: A process for the production of an armoring component for motor vehicles, the process beginning with provision of an armoring element made of an armored steel. At least one region of a surface of the armoring element is then subjected to particle-impact treatment. Finally, a coating is applied to the particle-impact-treated surface of the armoring element, where the coating consists of a material that is softer than the armored steel.

  • Publication number: 20170299344
Abstract: An armoring part for a vehicle includes a steel plate made of at least partially hot formed and press hardened armor steel and having a hardness of 380 to 760 Vickers (HV). Applied on at least one side of the steel plate is a coat which is made of a metal material which is softer than a metal material of the armor steel. The coat is a thermally applied layer and has a hardness of 10 to 230 Vickers (HV).

  • Publication number: 20140158257
Abstract: In a method for producing a motor vehicle component and a motor vehicle component produced according to the invention a steel sheet with a stacking fault energy between 10 and 40 mJ/m2 and a manganese content between 10 and 30% is provided, which is prone to twin formation at room temperature and has at least regions with a predominantly austenitic microstructure. Regions of this steel sheet are first temperature treated to a temperature between +30° C. and ?250° C. and subsequently cold formed.
