  • Patent number: 9862338
Abstract: A system for contactless energy transmission includes a transformer formed by a primary winding and a secondary winding, which transformer is designed so as to be resonant as a result of capacitors. By measuring and comparing electrical state variables on the primary side and on the secondary side the efficiency of the transmission of electrical power from the primary side to the secondary side is determined, and by varying the resonance frequency of the transformer or of the frequency of a primary voltage applied to the primary winding the resonance frequency and the primary voltage frequency are attuned to each other.

  • Patent number: 9682668
Abstract: A system for determining a cabin layout in a cabin of a vehicle, includes a system for contactless transfer of power with primary magnetic elements and secondary magnetic elements that each overlap with at least one primary magnetic element. Based on sequentially providing power to primary magnetic elements and measuring at least one electric value in the powered primary magnetic element overlapping states of secondary magnetic elements and primary magnetic elements can be determined. By determining overlapping states for all primary magnetic elements in the cabin the number and positions of all secondary magnetic elements and all vehicle components attached thereto can be collected. The system avoids powering two contiguous primary magnetic elements to prevent a wrong determination of an overlapping state.

  • Patent number: 7701315
Abstract: A device for contactless transfer of energy and data. One embodiment includes a primary coil assembly on a first support and a secondary coil assembly on a second support, the supports rotatable in relation to one another, the primary and secondary coil assemblies having an energy coil for inductive transfer of electric energy. To minimize interference in data transfer, the primary and secondary coil assemblies may include at least one data coil for inductive data transfer wherein at least one winding of the data coil surrounds at least one winding of the energy coil so that a first section of the data winding is wound in the wound direction of the energy coil and a second section of the data winding is wound in a direction opposite the wound direction of the energy coil.

  • Publication number: 20080211614
Abstract: There is described a device for the contactless transfer of energy and data. Said device comprises a primary coil assembly, which is located in a fixed manner on a first support and a secondary coil assembly, which is located in a fixed manner on a second support, the first and second supports being rotatable in relation to one another and the primary and secondary coil assemblies having a respective energy coil for the inductive transfer of electric energy. To achieve a least possible interference of the data transfer caused by the energy transfer, the primary and secondary coil assemblies comprise at least one respective data coil for an inductive data transfer and at least one data winging of said data coil surrounds at least one energy winding of the energy coil in such a way that a first section of the data winding is wound in the wound direction of the energy coil and a second section of the data winding is wound in the opposite direction to the wound direction of said energy coil.
