  • Publication number: 20240085017
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a burner having a container for storing liquid fuel, a fuel inlet for filling liquid fuel into the container, and a fire outlet for fire from burning liquid fuel to leave the burner. The fire outlet may function as fuel inlet or a separate fuel inlet is provided. The burner includes a stopping mechanism and an actuator for controlling the stopping mechanism. The stopping mechanism is displaced by the actuator towards a first position, when the temperature of the actuator is changed from a relatively high temperature to a relatively low temperature. The stopping mechanism is displaced by the actuator towards the second position, when the temperature of the actuator is changed from a relatively low temperature to a relatively high temperature. The disclosure also relates to a method of operating such a burner and a funnel for a burner.

  • Patent number: 11060733
Abstract: A combi stove (1) is arranged for combusting both logs and granular material. The combi stove (1) has a common combustion chamber (2) arranged so that both the logs and the granular material may be combusted in the common combustion chamber (2). The combi stove (1) further has an ash collector (3) arranged under the combustion chamber (2) and a front aperture (4) through which logs may be placed in the combustion chamber (2). Also the combi stove (1) includes a granular material combustion area (5) arranged in the combustion chamber (2), wherein the granular material combustion area (5) has a bottom combustion surface (6) including bottom airflow apertures (7) arranged to enable an airflow to the granular material during a combustion of the granular material in the granular material combustion area (5).

  • Publication number: 20150107579
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for controlling the supply of combustion air to a combustion chamber for solid fuel, the device including a housing having a chamber and having a first end and a second end, a piston arrangement being movable arranged inside the chamber between a first position and a second position, the piston arrangement including a gasket arrangement, an adjustable valve arrangement for providing a fluid communication between the chamber and the exterior of the chamber and being configured for providing a flow of a gas to the chamber, and an elastic force inducing arrangement. The piston arrangement is configured for being moved towards the first end of the housing to the first position, thereby forcing gas inside the chamber out of the chamber through an outlet, and the elastic force inducing arrangement is connected to the piston arrangement and is configured for forcing the piston arrangement from the first position towards the second position.

  • Publication number: 20090260553
Abstract: A device is supplying combustion air to a combustion chamber, in which solid fuel is being burned, and the air supply is controlled in accordance with at predetermined program as a function of combustion time. The predetermined program is preferably based on empirical data. The combustion air may be supplied by means of a valve member, which is displaceable between first and second positions, and the valve member may expose varying areas of air supply opening(s) when moved between said positions. Biasing means, such as spring means, may bias the valve member towards said second position and slowing-down means may delay the movement of the valve member.
