  • Patent number: 7104972
Abstract: An end-of-content arrangement for preventing a dose setting member of an injection device to be set to a dose larger that the medicament remaining in the injection device. The arrangement is particular suitable for injection devices operating with non-equistant dose volumes. The arrangement comprises an indentation provided on the housing or on the dose setting and injection member which indentation arrest a stop member when less than one dose unit is left in the cartridge. The stop member is coupled to the dose setting member such that the interaction between the indentation and the stop member prevents a dose larger that the remaining medication in being set.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 1, 2003
Date of Patent: September 12, 2006
    Assignee: Novo Nordisk A/S

  • Patent number: 6642280
Abstract: A control scheme is set forth for conversion of variable composition synthesis gas to liquid fuels in a three-phase or slurry bubble column reactor (SBCR). The control scheme allows one to achieve constant or optimum liquid fuel production and constant or limited purge gas flow with highly variable synthesis gas feed condition. This is accomplished by adjusting one or more of the following independent variables: recycle ratio, water addition, and bypass flow.

  • Patent number: 6616499
Abstract: Square and octagonal building elements for a set of toy building elements that are capable of being inteconnected in a releasable engagement both side-to-side and top-to-bottom. The side walls of the building elements include a groove and/or a split flexible tongue that is compressed when frontally forced into a groove in another such building element to effect a releasable restraining frictional engagement within the groove.

  • Patent number: 6616884
Abstract: A cable tie having a locking head and a strap terminating in a tip is formed by injecting plastic material into a mold cavity defined by a first mold part that includes a head region defining a portion of the head and a second mold part that includes a tip region defining a portion of the tip. Upon initial separation of the mold parts a portion of the head is retained in the head region of the first mold part and a portion of the tip is retained in the tip region of the second mold part. Upon further separation of the mold parts, the tip is still retained in the tip region of the second mold part and the head is removed from the head region of the first mold part. Subsequently, the tip of the cable tie is ejected from the tip region of the second mold part.

  • Patent number: 6528004
Abstract: A cable tie having a locking head and a strap terminating in a tip is formed by injecting plastic into a mold cavity defined by first and second mold parts. The first mold part includes head and tip regions respectively defining portions of the head and the tip. The first and second mold parts define a strap region for forming a portion of the strap that extends between the head and the tip. Upon initial separation of the mold parts, portions of the head and the tip are retained in the head and tip regions of the first mold part and a portion of the strap is retained in the second mold part to thereby remove the tip and the head from the second mold part and portions of the strap from the mold parts. Upon further separation of the mold parts some previously retained portions are thereby removed.

  • Patent number: 6447360
Abstract: A building element for a set of toy building elements that are capable of being interconnected in a releasable engagement includes side walls having grooves and tongues, a top having a broad surface that extends toward the side walls and a primarily cylindrical projection extending above the broad surface; a open bottom; and an interior having a plurality of ribs with contact surfaces that are accessible through the open bottom and disposed for interconnecting with the projection on the top of another such building element. At least some of the contact surfaces of the interior ribs include lateral indentations; and the projection includes a circular lateral ridge disposed above the broad surface for being interconnected in a releasable restaining engagement within the indentations in the interior contact surfaces of the ribs of another such building element.
