Abstract: Aqueous aerosol lacquer contains, in solution in water, a copolymer having repeating units derived from the polymerization of:(i) least one unsaturated sulphonic acid in a proportion of 30 to 90% by weight and having the following general formula: ##STR1## in which: R.sub.1 denotes a hydrogen atom or the CH.sub.3 radical,X denotes --O-- or --NH--, andY denotes a linear or branched alkylene chain containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and(ii) at least one N-monoalkylacrylamide or methacrylamide in a proportion of 10 to 70% by weight and having the following general formula: ##STR2## in which: R.sub.2 denotes a hydrogen atom or --CH.sub.3 radical andR.sub.3 denotes a linear or branched radical containing from 3 to 10 carbon atoms,the sulphonic acid functional groups of the copolymer being neutralized in a proportion of 40 to 70% with triethanolamine, and the propellent agent of the aerosol lacquer being dimethyl ether.

Abstract: Use of metallic oxide nanopigments selected from titanium, zinc, cerium and zirconium or blends thereof, having an average size of less than 100 nm and preferably 5 and 50 nm, to preserve the hair's mechanical properties and especially its strength and elasticity, and protect it against external influences and especially sunlight. The quantity of metallic oxide nanopigments used in a non-rinsed cosmetic support is between 0.2 and 2% by weight. The invention also concerns cosmetic compositions for hair in the form of gel.

Abstract: Cosmetic composition designed to maintain the hair in place, containing, in a cosmetically medium, at least one oxazoline polymer of formula (I): ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 denotes a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 lower alkyl radical and n has a value such that the molecular weight is equal to at least 10,000 and at least one 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone-5-sulphonic acid or its cosmetically acceptable salts.

Abstract: A reducing cosmetic composition containing an association of a reducing agent and a cationic polymer is described. The reducing agent is cysteamine or one of its salts and/or N-acetylcysteamine, and the cationic polymer is a copolymer of from 45 to 99.5 mole-% of N-vinylpyrrolidone and from 0.5 to 55 moIe-% of nonquaternized dialkyl (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4) aminoalkyl (C.sub.1 -C.sub.18) acrylate or methacrylate. The composition can be used in a process for permanent deformation of the hair in the cold state.

Abstract: Cosmetic hair-care composition containing a polyorganosiloxane containing a hydroalkyl functional group of formula: ##STR1## in which the radicals R denote methyl or phenyl, at least 60 mol % of the radicals R denoting methyl, the radical R' is a C.sub.2 -C.sub.18 divalent alkylene hydrocarbon radical, p is an integer between 1 and 30 inclusive, q is an integer between 1 and 120 inclusive, this composition containing no anionic surface-active agents in sufficient proportions to impart foaming properties to the composition.

Abstract: Cosmetic composition packaged under pressure in an aerosol device, in the presence of a propellant, characterized in that it contains, in a cosmetically acceptable aqueous medium, at least one quaternary cellulose ether corresponding to the formula: ##STR1## Rcellulose is a radical of an anhydroglucose unit. in which at least one of the groups R.sub.1, R.sub.2 or R.sub.3 denotes a radical of formula ##STR2## in which m is an integer with a value from 2 to 10, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 denote a lower alkyl radical containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, X.sup..crclbar. denotes a cosmetically acceptable anion, the remaining groups R.sub.1, R.sub.2 or R.sub.3 denoting a lower hydroxyalkyl radical containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and at least one graft copolymer of vinyl acetate, crotonic acid and polyalkylene glycol, under conditions such that they form, from the device, a stable and firm foam on expansion in air.
