Abstract: A kit for assisting in the selection of an adornment to be worn by a person is provided. The kit includes one or more option charts displaying a number of options of different possible facial and/or head colour characteristics for comparison with the facial and/or head colour characteristics of the person and also includes one or more colour charts displaying a corresponding number of collections of suitable adornment colours. Each collection of suitable adornment colours is associated with a different option on the one or more option charts. The kit further includes a plurality of members, each providing a different possible facial outline shape for comparison with the facial outline shape of the person. Each facial outline shape has an associated collection of suitable adornment shapes. A method for using the kit is also provided.
