Abstract: A gaming apparatus and method provides, in various embodiments, novel poker, baccarat, blackjack, and roulette games, including combinations of two or more of such games. In one embodiment, the apparatus and method utilizes 52 balls, divided into 11 groups, and a specialized roulette wheel having 52 pockets with assigned card values. The results of a spin of such a roulette wheel with these balls creates a plurality of five-card poker hands, as well as a two card hand utilizable for a blackjack, baccarat, roulette, and/or seven card poker game. Seven and two ball variations, utilizing the same type of roulette wheel, may also be utilized. In another embodiment, 52 playing cards are dealt into 11 groups, to create a plurality of five-card poker hands as well as a two card hand utilizable for other games. In still another embodiment, 52 playing cards are dealt into a plurality of two card groups, one or more of which may be utilizable for a blackjack, baccarat or roulette game.

Abstract: An improved baccarat-type game. In one embodiment, each player plays his or her own baccarat hand, against a dealer hand. Players may wager on the outcome of their hand versus the dealer hand and, in one embodiment, may bet on either hand to win. Preferably, at least one and preferably two additional wagering opportunities are provided. In one, players may wager on the identity of the dealer's first card, which is dealt face down. In a second, players may wager on the combined value of the dealer hand and the wagerer's player hand. In one embodiment, one or more of these bonus opportunities are provided, in a game in which there is only a single player hand.

Abstract: A combination baccarat and blackjack game. Preferably, each wagering player plays a baccarat-type game and a blackjack-type game against a dealer who also plays baccarat and blackjack hands. In one embodiment, a determination card is utilized in the event of a tie, to determine whether or to what extent a player loses his/her initial wager. A bonus feature may also be provided, to permit players to achieve a bonus payout for achieving particular blackjack and/or baccarat hands. In another embodiment, only one player blackjack hand and one player baccarat hand is provided, with players wagering on dealer or player blackjack hands and/or baccarat hands.

Abstract: A method for displaying casino games to a plurality of users in networked communication with a host. In one embodiment, the games include existing games that may be found in a casino as well as games that are still in development. In exchange for payment of a membership fee, players may engage in the simulated play of such games on a user computer. Preferably, demographic information and/or feedback is obtained from users, and communicated by the host to gaming manufacturers.
