  • Patent number: 10683894
Abstract: An air bearing for movably bearing at least two elements includes a bearing main body with a first air outflow channel and a second air outflow channel. The first air outflow channel is supplied with air via at least one first air delivery device. The second air outflow channel is supplied with air via at least one second air delivery device. A sensor detects at least one of a bearing stroke, a bearing pressure, and a bearing throughflow, and a controller adjusts the supply of the air to at least one of the first air outflow channel and the second air outflow channel in accordance with the at least one of the bearing stroke, the bearing pressure, and the bearing throughflow.

  • Patent number: 10302129
Abstract: A linear guide includes an elongate guide body and a bearing cage, on the inner sides of which fluid pressure bearings are provided. The bearing cage moves along the guide body via the bearings. The bearing cage includes at least three interconnected plates. The plates each have an inner surface facing the guide body, an outer surface facing away from the guide body and side surfaces between the inner and the outer surface. Each plate is connected to a first other plate in a first end region and connected to a second other plate in an opposite second end region. For each of the plates: the first other plate, with its inner surface, abuts against a side surface of the considered plate, while the considered plate, with its inner surface, abuts against a side surface of the second other plate in the second end region of the considered plate.

  • Patent number: 7714304
Abstract: A computer tomography measuring device includes a radiation source for generating invasive radiation, in particular X-rays, and a rotating device which is embodied and arranged in such a way that it enables a measurement object to be rotatable about an axis of rotation of the rotating device, thereby enabling the invasive radiation to penetrate into the measurement object at different angles. A detecting device detects the radiation penetrating through the measurement object. A positioning device provided with an adjusting element is used for adjusting the position of the measurement object with respect to the rotating device.

  • Patent number: 6105909
Abstract: A stand for a device, which is to be movably arranged, has a first stand part and a second stand part, which is movable relative to the first stand part, and which includes a pivot arm, pivotable around a pivot axis (A2) and jointed to the first stand part. An energy storage device is provided, which exerts at a fixed point of action of the pivot arm a force directed to an abutment point of the energy storage device on the first stand part. The pivot axis (A2) and the abutment point define a vertical plane, the abutment point being spatially fixed relative to the first stand part during a pivoting of the pivot arm. A cord parallelogram coupling the motion of a first stand arm and a second stand arm includes a closed cord length running around two deflecting rollers, and has a rod section between the deflecting rollers. A linear slide and pivot unit is arranged between a mounting arm and the movably arranged device and makes possible displacements of the center of gravity of the movably arranged device.

  • Patent number: 5746093
Abstract: In a device for compensating a torque that depends on rotation angle and results from the rotational motion of a mass around a rotation axis, the rotational motion is converted into a linear displacement of a movably mounted displacement unit along a displacement axis in a defined manner depending on the rotation angle. The torque acting at any given time is compensated by an elastic compensating element that exerts a force opposite to the linear displacement of the displacement unit. Such a device is particularly suitable for compensation of torques that depend on rotation angle in medical stands.
