  • Patent number: 7270530
Abstract: The invention relates to a portioning device for foodstuffs, in particular ice cream. Said device comprises a handle consisting of two handle halves that are interconnected by an articulation and can be pivoted in relation to one another, a scoop that is attached to said handle and a blade that is adapted to the interior shape of the scoop. Said blade is mounted so that it can pivot close to the surface of said scoop and carries out a pivoting displacement when the handle is operated. • Publication number: 20030131426
Abstract: A cleaning device for cleaning individual items of cutlery includes a liquid-proof container having spray nozzles with a supply line within the liquid-proof container through which a cleaning fluid is able to be sprayed, the container having a base with an outlet and an aperture through which an item of cutlery is able to be partially inserted into the container for cleaning. The spray nozzles within the container are, preferably, stationary relative to the item of cutlery being cleaned and directed so that the cleaning fluid strikes the item of cutlery inserted into the container for cleaning with a control device for controlling the supply of the cleaning fluid passing through the supply line to the spray nozzles. There is at least one slot in the top side of the cleaning device, so that the item of cutlery can be stored in close proximity to the liquid-proof container.

  • Patent number: 5044914
Abstract: A food scoop is disclosed which disposes a temperature sensor in or on a spoon portion (which includes a handle), which is utilized for the scooping operation. The temperature sensor includes a counting mechanism that records the temperature changes of the spoon and uses them as a counting impulse. Most foods, whether such foods be ice cream or heated selections, have sharp temperature gradients which are counted and recorded by the scoop portion of the invention. The number of temperature changes counted by the counting mechanism equals the number of portions of a particular food which have been served.
