  • Fiber Composite Component Having Radiation Crosslinked Filler

    Abstract: A fiber composite component is produced by first producing a filler for a preform of the fiber composite component from a plastic material, the preform including a textile material. The plastic material of the filler is crosslinked so that plastic molecules of the plastic material are bonded together. The filler is inserted into the preform of the fiber composite component and the filler is bonded to the preform so as to form the fiber composite component.
