  • Patent number: 6584771
Abstract: A piston for the variable delimitation of a pressure chamber in a housing of a hydraulic cylinder, in particular a clutch master cylinder for motor vehicles, has a main section on which a running surface is provided for a sealing element on the housing side. The sealing element seals a pressure chamber in an operating position of the piston. The piston also has an after-running device, which, in a normal position of the piston, connects the pressure chamber to an after-running area. The after-running device is made separately from the main section and is connected without play to the main section to form the piston. As a result, a piston that is easy to manufacture is created and which, with reference to the after-running device, has an improved functionality compared with prior art.

  • Patent number: 6582517
Abstract: A compartment for powder coating of workpieces (20) which is simple in structure, cost effective, and easy to clean comprises a floor (32, 40), two sidewalls (2, 4), and two end walls (10, 12) at least one (12) of which has a door opening (16) for entry and/or exit of the workpieces (20). Two oblique walls (22, 24) are arranged symmetrically inclined with respect to each other at the inside surfaces of the sidewalls (2, 4) in the lower corner regions of the compartment, so that, together with the corner regions, they define a suction channel (34, 36) each, and with their lower edges they form suction gaps (s). The walkable floor (32) may be embodied by a stationary plate or a discharge belt. The oblique walls (22, 24) can be tilted up against or removed from the inside surfaces of the sidewalls (2, 4) for cleaning purposes.

  • Patent number: 6523444
Abstract: In a method for cutting at least one workpiece section (1), in particular aluminum section, which may have been produced in an extrusion press, using a sawing device (19) which, on a frame (5), is displaced along an X-axis above a conveyor device (2) for workpiece sections (1), a saw (13) is displaced with respect to the sawing device (19, 25) in an X-direction and/or Y-direction above the conveyor device (2) for workpiece sections (1), in order to cut at least one workpiece section (1), at least one saw bench (15) is moved into a conveyor plane (20) of the conveyor device (2) for workpiece sections (1), the at least one workpiece section (1) then being moved in via the at least one saw bench (15) and then being cut through.

  • Publication number: 20020166506
Abstract: A compartment for powder coating workpieces conveyed through an aperture for the workpieces formed in an end wall and coated by means of automatic coating equipment inside the compartment in which there is negative pressure comprises at least one manual coating station located beyond and adjacent the aperture, as seen in conveying direction of the workpieces for manually coating workpieces outside of the compartment. In this manner, on the one hand, openings in the sidewalls of the compartment for manual coating of the workpieces from the side of the compartment can be dispensed with and, on the other hand, practically unlimited free space is offered during manual coating.

  • Publication number: 20020090253
Abstract: A device for articulated connection between a control element and a control rod having a ball head comprising a main body attachable to the control element. The main body envelops a locating section providing positive location for the ball head and has an opening area through which the control rod extends when the device is assembled. According to the invention, the locating section is in two parts whereby the main body forms a part into which the ball head can be introduced through a joint duct located outside the opening, while a molding insertable into the joint duct forms the other part of the locating section. As a result, a simple device is created, guaranteeing connection between the control element and the control rod which is backlash-free or has little backlash.

  • Patent number: 6260710
Abstract: A flat sifter with self-supporting structure which is preferably used for sifting grain and flour-like products in mills. The aim is to markedly simplify the construction and assembly of such a flat sifter while improving the sanitary conditions. That aim is achieved by combining one or several double compartments, which are mounted laterally adjacent to one another with a universal drive unit.

  • Patent number: 5957030
Abstract: An actuating cylinder (2), especially for a hydraulic clutch operation device in a motor vehicle, is disclosed, having a piston unit (6) arranged in a housing (4) and guided via a guide sleeve (8) which is permanently connected to the housing, wherein the piston unit can be displaced by means of a thrust bolt (10). A thrust bolt head (12) is permanently attached directly to the thrust bolt and its relative position with regard to the thrust bolt determines the working stroke (H) of the piston unit, which is done at the time of assembly of the actuating cylinder already. The thrust bolt head is slid onto the thrust bolt and the working stroke between the guide sleeve and the thrust bolt head is adjusted before the thrust bolt head is attached to the thrust bolt. The actuating cylinder and its assembly are simplified according to this invention, so that subsequent work in adjusting the working stroke can be eliminated.
