Abstract: A device (10) for treatment of obesity or diabetes comprises a duodenal tube (12), first anchor (14) arranged at a pre-defined distance (D) from a proximal end (15) of the duodenal tube (12). The first anchor (14) is adapted for anchoring the tube (12) distally to the pylorus (P) without mucosal involvement. A second anchor (17) in the form of a conical, inflatable balloon is used for anchoring the device (10) in the stomach (S) of the patient. The duodenal tube (12) is flexible and can be arranged in the duodenum (D) and in the jejunum (J) of the patient.

Abstract: An overtube that includes a body, a first duct for housing a first insertion tube of a first endoscope, where the first duct is arranged longitudinally within the body and opens at the distal end, a second duct for housing a second insertion tube of a second endoscope, where the second duct is arranged longitudinally within the body and opens at the distal end, a first orifice for introducing the first insertion tube into the first duct, a second orifice for introducing the second insertion tube into the second duct, a third orifice for introducing a lubricant into the first duct and into the second duct, and where the first duct and the second duct communicate with each other via a communication passage, and the passage opens at the third orifice.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an intraoral medical device comprising: • a mouth opener (2) formed by a tubular element (4) arranged to define an access to the oral cavity of the patient, • a tongue depressor (1) designed to be inserted removably into the tubular element (4) and having:—a channel (12) through which a breathable gas is injected and which opens out at the distal end of said tongue depressor,—a conduit through which surgical instruments are passed and which opens out at the distal end of said tongue depressor, the mouth opener (2) comprising an injection conduit (20) designed to be connected to a source of breathable gas and configured to inject said gas into the oral cavity of the patient when the tongue depressor (1) is not inserted in the tubular element (4) and to inject said gas into the injection channel (12) of said tongue depressor when the latter is inserted in said tubular element.
