  • Patent number: 9297472
Abstract: An electro-valve for discharging a common rail while maintaining a minimum pressure, comprising an electro-magnetic coil inside which is arranged a movable plunger, controlling the displacements of a movable axis engaging a ball valve, said movable plunger being urged in the closing position of the ball valve by a spring housed inside a bearing cap, wherein a bottom wall of the bearing cap surrounds an external surface of the movable plunger, wherein a clearance between the external surface of the plunger and an internal wall of the bearing cap is filled with a film of fuel, the opening movement of the plunger causing the fuel to flow from a room situated on top of the plunger to a bore in which the axis is arranged, wherein a sleeve of a controlled thickness is arranged around the plunger within the clearance to set the thickness of said film of fuel.

  • Patent number: 8065056
Abstract: A vehicle roll control system, comprising a front torsion bar(22), attached to the front hydraulic actuator (34) and a rear torsion bar (24) attached to the rear hydraulic actuator (34?). A pressure control valve (99) is fluidly connected between a pressure source (80) and a reservoir (81). A directional valve (82) is fluidly connected between the pressure control valve (99) and the hydraulic actuators (34,34?). A pressure relief valve (83,84) fluidly connects the directional valve to the pressure source (80) or the reservoir (81) and is actuated to create pressure differential between first fluid chambers (58,58?) of the hydraulic actuators (34,34?)and/or to create pressure differential between second fluid chambers (60,60?) of the hydraulic actuators (34,34?).

  • Patent number: 7618018
Abstract: The electromagnetic valve comprises a cylindrical housing and a solenoid having an axial hole capable of receiving one of the ends of the housing that is associated with a split ring capable of being placed in a first circular recess on the periphery of the housing for extending partially and simultaneously in a second circular recess on the inner surface of the axial hole of the hole forming a port in such a manner as to establish a connection between the housing and the solenoid and the hole forming a port. An elastically compressible intermediate ring is placed around the housing and capable of being compressed between opposing support surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20080140284
Abstract: A vehicle roll control system, comprising a front torsion bar, a front hydraulic actuator (34) attached to the front torsion bar; a rear torsion bar, a rear hydraulic actuator (34) attached to the rear torsion bar; and control means (70-99) connected to the front and rear hydraulic actuators and controlling the operation thereof on detection of a predetermined vehicle condition; wherein each front and rear hydraulic actuator comprises a housing, a piston (62,62) making a sealing sliding fit inside the housing to define a first fluid chamber (58,58) and a second fluid chamber (60,60), and a piston rod (64,64) connected to the piston and extending through the second fluid chamber and out of the housing; wherein the control means acts on detection of the predetermined vehicle condition to apply a fluid pressure to the first fluid chamber of the front hydraulic actuator which is different from the fluid pressure applied to the first fluid chamber of the rear hydraulic actuator and/or apply a fluid pressure to the

  • Publication number: 20060118747
Abstract: The electromagnetic valve comprises a cylindrical housing (3) and a solenoid (5) having an axial hole (6) capable of receiving one of the ends of the housing (3) that is associated to first connecting means of the housing (3) at the solenoid (5) and is associated to second connecting means of the housing (3) at a hole forming a port in the hydraulic block (2). The connecting means comprise a split ring (14) capable of being placed in a first circular recess (15) on the periphery of said housing (3) for extending partially and simultaneously in a second circular recess (16) on the inner surface of the axial hole (6) of the hole forming a port in such a manner as to establish a connection between said housing (3) and the solenoid (5) and the hole forming a port. The connecting means are associated with an elastically compressible intermediate ring (18) placed around the housing (3) and capable of being compressed between the opposing support surfaces.
