  • Patent number: 11922558
Abstract: In various examples, information may be received for a 3D model, such as 3D geometry information, lighting information, and material information. A machine learning model may be trained to disentangle the 3D geometry information, the lighting information, and/or material information from input data to provide the information, which may be used to project geometry of the 3D model onto an image plane to generate a mapping between pixels and portions of the 3D model. Rasterization may then use the mapping to determine which pixels are covered and in what manner, by the geometry. The mapping may also be used to compute radiance for points corresponding to the one or more 3D models using light transport simulation. Disclosed approaches may be used in various applications, such as image editing, 3D model editing, synthetic data generation, and/or data set augmentation.

  • Patent number: 8122456
Abstract: The invention concerns a microcircuit card including at least one computer object and a register (Registry) having a logic identifier (myCalculator) of the object and at least one local reference (A000000000H,0060H) of the object pertaining to the card. The card further includes elements (CardManager) adapted to communicate, upon reception of a first message (look_APDU) including the logic identifier (myCalculator), at least one local code (K(0060H) obtained from the local reference (0060H).

  • Publication number: 20080237136
Abstract: System for the manipulation of magnetic particles. A first magnetic flux source comprising one or more permanent magnets (1), and a second magnetic flux source comprising one or more modules (2), each with an electrical coil (4) equipped with a coil core (3), which coil can be run through by an electrical current controlled by a switching module (5). The switching module can, in a first switching status, give such a direction to the electrical current that the flux of the first flux source and the flux of the second flux source have opposite directions. As a result of the remanent magnetism the coil cores work as semi-permanent magnets, the polarity of which can be reversed by the current direction. The particles can, in the first switching status, freely move in a room (9), or, under control of the switching module, be immobilized in a second switching status.

  • Patent number: 6848951
Abstract: An electrical and/or optical interface device between a first piece of equipment, especially of the automatic-machine type, and at least one other piece of equipment of an industrial plant, is disclosed. The device is capable of receiving at least one multipoint connector for serving communication channels between functional elements of the first piece of equipment and functional elements of at least said other piece of equipment, and it is made in the form of a modular assembly whose components are distributed among an alignment of functional modules, of the terminal-block type, that are placed side by side. Each communication channel is served by a functional module containing the interface components which fulfill out the functions that relate to this channel and receiving the multipoint connector part serving this channel, the various functions carried out by the interface device being distributed among various functional modules of said alignment.

  • Patent number: 5720446
Abstract: A method and device for cutting photographic products into strips is accomplished by perforating a sheet of photographic product along predetermined transverse lines and then guiding the perforated product through a cutting member that cuts the sheet longitudinally so as to produce a plurality of strips. The perforations are formed in the sheet of photographic product with preferably a circular blade that rotates into cutting engagement with the sheet.

  • Patent number: 5709354
Abstract: A loading apparatus for transferring a first roll from a preparation apparatus to an unwinding apparatus. The preparation apparatus includes a shaft onto which a first roll is loaded, and supports connected to a vacuum source to maintain the web wound about a circulation loop. When a second roll loaded on the unwinding apparatus is expired, the preparation apparatus is rotated about an axis to register the preparation apparatus' shaft with the unwinding apparatus' shaft, and the first roll is then transferred from the preparation apparatus' shaft to the unwinding apparatus' shaft. The ends of the first and second rolls are attached.

  • Patent number: 5690012
Abstract: A cutting module comprises a circular knife and a circular bedknife rotatively mounted on a frame in such a way that their respective axes are substantially parallel to each other. The distance between the axis of the knife and the bedknife is such that their respective periphery is brought close together or brought to bear on each other over a part of their periphery in order to cut a web passing between the knife and bedknife. The knife or the bedknife are mounted on a mechanism provided with an adjustable eccentric so as to adjust the penetration by modifying the height of engagement of the knife with respect to the bedknife.
