  • Publication number: 20210046855
Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle (10) seat (22), comprising: a seat bottom (26); a backrest (28) secured to the seat bottom (26), and at least one leg (32) supporting the seat bottom (26). The leg (32) comprises at least three segments (44, 46, 48), including: a first segment (44) fastened to the lower face (40) of the seat bottom (26), a second segment (46) fastened to the floor (20, 21) of the vehicle (10), and a third segment (48) joining the first segment (44) and the second segment (46). The third segment (48) is arranged so that the leg (32) defines a housing (50) between the seat bottom (26) and the floor (20, 21). The housing (50) is able to accommodate at least one piece of carry-on luggage (52) such that it does not protrude by more than 100 mm from the front edge (34) or the rear edge (36) of the seat bottom (26).

  • Patent number: 10471873
Abstract: The rotation device includes means for locking the seat in extreme angular positions, comprising a movable abutment carried by the seat, and interacting with a complimentary fixed abutment when the seat is in one of its extreme angular positions. The movable abutment may be moved between a locked position in which it abuts the fixed abutment, and an unlocked position in which it is above the fixed abutment. The device has a means for unlocking the seat, wherein it comprises at least one pneumatic control member and pneumatic means for driving the movable abutment from its locked position to its unlocked position when the control member is actuated.

  • Patent number: 7188399
Abstract: In the disclosed method of fitting a fixed flush glazed window of a high-speed rail vehicle, a first edge of the window is first placed from the exterior of the vehicle in a groove situated on a horizontal portion of the window frame, after which the window is tilted to move the opposite second edge of the window toward the opposite horizontal portion of the window frame, and finally the opposite second edge is fixed to the opposite horizontal portion of the window frame from inside the vehicle. Thus there is no mechanical fixing to the horizontal portion of the window where the groove is located, so that it is no longer necessary to demount all of the interior fittings when changing a window, while fixing the other horizontal portion from the inside minimizes the width of the mastic. Furthermore, installation from the outside means that the window may be fitted independently of the position of the vehicle on the assembly line, since whether the interior fittings have been fitted or not is of no importance.
