  • Patent number: 6596398
Abstract: A solar-control glass that has acceptable visible light transmission, absorbs near infrared wavelength light (NIR) and reflects midrange infrared light (low emissivity mid IR) along with a preselected color within the visible light spectrum for reflected light is provided. Also provided is a method of producing the improved, coated, solar-controlled glass. The improved glass has a solar energy (NIR) absorbing layer comprising tin oxide having a dopant such as antimony and a low emissivity control layer (low emissivity) capable of reflecting midrange infrared light and comprising tin oxide having fluorine and/or phosphorus dopant. A separate iridescence color suppressing layer as described in the prior art is generally not needed to achieve a neutral (colorless) appearance for the coated glass, however an iridescence suppressing layer or other layers may be combined with the two layer assemblage provided by the present invention.

Date of Patent: July 22, 2003
    Assignee: Atofina Chemicals, Inc.
Inventors: David A. Russo, Clem S. McKown, Christophe Roger, Jeffrey L. Stricker
  • Patent number: 6317663
Abstract: A landing aid device comprises processing means, which receive aircraft path data, and data regarding the position of at least one runway towards which the aircraft is steering. These processing means comprise calculation means which supply a state signal, comprising at least one condition which is dependent on the path data and on the runway data, this function being chosen so as to express the fact that the path of the aircraft converges towards the runway.

  • Patent number: 5964185
Abstract: A feeding installation has at least two feed containers from which feeds of different composition are conveyed by means of a feed conveying device to feeding devices. The feeding devices are connected to the feed conveying device by way of valves. The valves have two or more slide elements which are slidable relative to each other and are provided with an opening, for allowing or blocking the passage of feed.
