Publication number: 20240120047Abstract: A system receives medical data from multiple physiological monitor devices in various forms and formats. A data normalization process identifies each attribute type in the medical data reported by each device and assigns a unique attribute identifier. All parameters associated with an attribute are also identified and assigned a unique parameter identifier. The data normalization process uses this information to create a standardized data set for analysis. A rules processing engine applies alert and reporting rules to the standardized data set to generate a patient report and alerts for patient data that is beyond thresholds defined by the alert rules. The system provides default alert rules that may be overridden by clinic rule or manufacturer rules. Artificial intelligence (AI) principles may be applied using training set(s) of data to teach the rules processing engine to use the AI alert rules for data analysis.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 5, 2022Publication date: April 11, 2024Inventors: Luke Wilson Chambers, Kevin Christopher Hoffman, Ryan Charles Michel

Patent number: 11915427Abstract: An autonomous vehicle is described herein. The autonomous vehicle generates segmentation scenes based upon lidar data generated by a lidar sensor system of the autonomous vehicle. The lidar data includes points indicative of positions of objects in a driving environment of the autonomous vehicle. The segmentation scenes comprise regions that are indicative of the objects in the driving environment. The autonomous vehicle generates scores for each segmentation scene based upon characteristics of each segmentation scenes and selects a segmentation scene based upon the scores. The autonomous vehicle then operates based upon the segmentation scene.Type: GrantFiled: December 1, 2020Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLCInventors: Andrea Allais, Micah Christopher Chambers

Publication number: 20230280888Abstract: A system and method whereby an user interface editing device is used to create a user interface for a controlling device, the created user interface including user interface elements that are associated with functional operations of a virtual equivalent of an appliance. After the created user interface is transferred to the controlling device, the virtual equivalent of an appliance is caused to be linked to an intended target appliance whereupon activation of those user interface elements of the graphical user interface that were associated with functional operations of the virtual equivalent of an appliance will cause the controlling device to transmit commands to control corresponding functional operations of the intended target appliance.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 15, 2023Publication date: September 7, 2023Inventors: Arsham Hatambeiki, Christopher A. Chambers, Han-Sheng Yuh, Steven Clegg

Sound and time stamp comparison method for enabling short range explosive device training simulators
Patent number: 11662189Abstract: The present invention provides for a network connected training projectile that provides user feedback and is used to determine a trainee's proximity to an appropriately sized explosive blast zone. The invention solves the unmet need for close combat indirect fire (mortars and grenade launchers), or hand grenades which can be safely used in live training exercises. The invention further solves that such use is interactive with the training environment providing the ability to calculate the extent personnel participating in a training exercise would be affected by the training grenade in a real-life scenario. The invention further determines mortality of participants who would have been affected by the training grenade.Type: GrantFiled: July 10, 2020Date of Patent: May 30, 2023Assignee: Serious Simulations, Inc.Inventor: Christopher Chambers -
