  • Publication number: 20190130417
Abstract: Systems and methods to maintain digital chain of custody of containers and products loaded therein are described. A container may be verified, and products to be loaded into the container may be identified. Video data may be captured throughout the loading process, and the video data, together with product information, may be combined to generate a digital container model. Further, a monitoring device may be included within the container to gather data during shipment. During shipment, the digital container model may be provided to and reviewed by a recipient of the container. Upon arrival of the container, monitoring data of the monitoring device may also be reviewed by the recipient. Based on reviews of the digital container model and the monitoring data, digital chain of custody may be established and maintained for all or a portion of the products in the container from loading to arrival.

  • Patent number: 7536583
Abstract: A technique for timeline compression in a data store is disclosed. In one particular exemplary embodiment, the technique may be realized as a method for timeline compression in a storage system, wherein digital content of the storage system is backed up to enable restoration of the digital content to one or more points in a timeline. The method may comprise selecting a time interval in the timeline. The method may also comprise identifying one or more sets of backup data recorded for the selected time interval, wherein the identified one or more sets of backup data represent at least a portion of old data overwritten during the selected time interval. The method may further comprise discarding other backup data recorded for the selected time interval, thereby reducing a granularity level of the timeline in the selected time interval.

  • Publication number: 20020169926
Abstract: Systems and methods for streaming of multimedia files over a network are described. A streaming delivery accelerator (SDA) caches content from a content provider and streams the cached content to a user. Cached content is incrementally added to the cache memory, and the SDA is disconnected from the content provider when sufficient content for a predetermined time of play has been received. The caching process can be iterative, with only content not previously retained in the cache requested from the content provider. A method for cache eviction of content no longer of interest to users is also described.

  • Publication number: 20020161911
Abstract: Systems and methods for streaming of multimedia files over a network are described. A streaming delivery accelerator (SDA) receives content from a content provider, caches at least part of the content, forming a cache file, and streams the cache file to a user. The described systems and methods are directed to separate (shred) the content into contiguous cache files suitable for streaming. The shredded cache files may have different transmission bit rates and/or different content, such as audio, text, etc. Checksums can migrate from the content file to the shredded cache files and between different network protocols without the need for recomputing the checksums.

  • Patent number: 4021270
Abstract: A double master mask process for fabricating semiconductor integrated circuits is provided in which selectively etchable dielectric layers and ion implanted resistors are used to form dense integrated circuits with a minimum number of critical alignments. A first silicon dioxide silicon nitride layer used in conjunction with a first master photomask defines a base region and an isolation region which are self-aligned with respect to each other and with respect to resistor contact regions. After isolation and base diffusion, the first oxide/nitride layer is stripped away and a second oxide/nitride layer is grown. Using a photoresist mask, a predeposition layer for the resistor is then formed using ion implantation through the oxide/nitride layers. A second master photomask allows the formation of collector and emitter regions and base and resistor contact which are self-aligned with respect to each other.
