  • Publication number: 20240073796
Abstract: A circuit arrangement includes a preprocessing circuit configured to obtain context information related to a user location, a learning circuit configured to determine a predicted user movement based on context information related to a user location to obtain a predicted route and to determine predicted radio conditions along the predicted route, and a decision circuit configured to, based on the predicted radio conditions, identify one or more first areas expected to have a first type of radio conditions and one or more second areas expected to have a second type of radio conditions different from the first type of radio conditions and to control radio activity while traveling on the predicted route according to the one or more first areas and the one or more second areas.

  • Publication number: 20240024829
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques to mimic turbulent-enhanced reactivity under confinement by the addition of dilute high molecular weight polymers. Micro-scale imaging within a transparent porous medium reveals an elastic instability (EI), which drives chaotic fluctuations that stretch and fold solute blobs exponentially in time analogous to turbulent Batchelor mixing, despite the low Re. A reduction in the required mixing length can be observed, suggesting a cooperation between the elastic instability and the dispersion inherent to the disordered 3D porous media—which can be modeled as additive independent mixing rates, representing a dramatic conceptual simplification. The disclosed enhanced transport of solutes circumvents the traditional trade-off between throughput and reactor length, allowing a simultaneous large reduction in length and increases in throughput.

  • Publication number: 20070050268
Abstract: A method integrated into a CAD application is disclosed for providing additional content related to CAD objects manipulated in the CAD application. Aspects of the present invention include automatically extracting a list of one or more attributes associated with the one or more CAD objects in response to a user interacting with the one or more CAD objects; sending the list attributes along with additional special keywords that identify that the CAD application is the source of the list to a pay-for-placement search engine; and receiving object content in a form that can be incorporated and displayed in the CAD application from the pay-for-placement search engine.
