  • Patent number: 11957858
Abstract: A wound therapy system includes a dressing an instillation pump fluidly communicable with the dressing and configured to provide instillation fluid to the dressing, a negative pressure pump fluidly communicable with the dressing and configured to remove air from the dressing, and a control circuit communicably coupled to the instillation pump and the negative pressure pump. The control circuit is configured to control the instillation pump to provide an amount of the instillation fluid to the dressing, provide a soak period, and control the negative pressure pump to provide a cyclic variation of negative pressure at the dressing.

  • Patent number: 10909869
Abstract: A method and system for the creation, collection, analysis and publication of educational programs, products, practices, policies, and materials, collectively education tools, suitable for describing real-time education content-learner engagement-performance pathways every learner or segments of learners take during an education process. In particular, the method and system create and select direct lessons custom tailored to the interests, needs, and profiles of a target audience with the goal of maximizing learner engagement and performance outcomes. Additionally, the direct lessons clearly explain why the content is valuable, useful today and tomorrow, and relevant to a wide range of people, yet tailored to a target learning audience of having certain characteristics. A relevancy score is created based on a level of performance and application of the information in the direct lessons to provide publishers, educators, or the like with a method and system to track the effectiveness of the education tools.

  • Patent number: 8970075
Abstract: A liquid-cooled, radial air gap electric motor includes a stator, a rotor, a rotor shaft, two end bells, a housing, a coolant manifold system, and a coolant sump. The rotor includes a plurality of axially directed slots located near its periphery. The coolant manifold system directs a first portion of liquid coolant to flow past some portion of the stator and a second portion of liquid coolant to flow through the rotor slots. Some or all of the liquid coolant is received by the coolant sump from which the coolant may be recirculated.

  • Patent number: 8619338
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods related to data communication. A method includes consulting a database for information relating to the performance history of one or more facsimile transmitting devices. The database includes a performance score for one or more facsimile transmitting devices, and the performance score reflects the success or failure of a transmission of a data communication for an individual one of one or more facsimile transmitting device. The method further includes using the performance score to select an individual facsimile transmitting device from the one or more facsimile transmitting devices and attempting to transmit the data communication using the selected individual facsimile transmitting device.

  • Patent number: 8243314
Abstract: A system and a method including allowing a transmitting facsimile device and a receiving facsimile device to select a preferable communications network by enabling the receiving facsimile device to advertise both communication network capability data associated with the receiving facsimile device and addressing identifiers associated with the communication network capability data and the receiving facsimile device, enabling the transmitting facsimile device to read the advertised communication network capability data and the advertised addressing identifiers associated with the communication network capability data and the receiving facsimile device, and enabling a selection logic to preferentially select a communication network chosen from the advertised communication network capability data that is also compatible with the transmitting facsimile device's capabilities.
