  • Patent number: 11918715
Abstract: A polarized LED filter. The polarized LED filter comprises one or more components which are designed to attract and conglomerate particulates, allowing sub-micron sized contaminants to be easily captured. The polarizing effect delivers high-efficiency filtration with low static pressure. The combination of LED disinfecting arrays and anti-microbial coatings offer surface disinfection which reduces microbial growth, biological blow-off, airborne odors and VOCs while allowing for safer handling and servicing of the HVAC system and filter.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 1, 2021
Date of Patent: March 5, 2024
    Assignee: Triatomic Environmental, Inc.

  • Patent number: 10509377
Abstract: An air quality monitoring and management system adapted to be mounted between an existing thermostat and a wall in which the thermostat was previously mounted, or directly at the HVAC system. The air quality monitoring and management system contains various wires for connecting to both a thermostat and HVAC system, thereby effectively intercepting the signal between the thermostat and HVAC system. The air quality monitoring and management system includes air quality measuring sensors, a housing for mounting between the wall and thermostat, and a controller that supplies electrical signals to the HVAC system through use of the aforementioned wires to supplement the control of the HVAC fan in conjunction with the thermostat to help increase air flow in the affected area. The air quality monitoring and management system may include an air quality management controller mounted to an HVAC air handling unit, and wirelessly connected to sensors.

  • Patent number: 9339579
Abstract: A contamination control system for ductless air conditioners is disclosed. The contamination control system may be formed from one or more decontamination lamps contained within a tubular housing that is hollow and includes an internal cavity extending from the first end to the second end with at least one longitudinally extending sight window positioned between first and second tubular end regions. The decontamination lamp may be positioned within the internal cavity in the tubular housing. The tubular housing may be held in place with a mounting system including at least one tubular housing receiver in which the tubular housing is secured. The tubular housing is slidably held within the mounting system such that the tubular housing is slidable longitudinally relative to the tubular housing receivers and is rotatable within the tubular housing receivers. The decontamination lamp may be activated with a photo activated sensor.

  • Publication number: 20150306271
Abstract: An air purification system formed from an adsorptive photocatalytic oxidation device and a method of regenerating the oxidation device is disclosed. The air purification system may be configured to be installed within an air duct of a central air handling system. The air purification system may also include an ultraviolet light emitted by the ultraviolet light source to break down captured volatile organic compounds into elemental carbon dioxide and water vapor, and to irradiate air moving past the ultraviolet light and surfaces to reduce contaminants. The ultraviolet light source may be positioned to expose the adsorptive photocatalytic oxidation device to ultraviolet light emitted by the ultraviolet light source to break down captured volatile organic compounds into elemental carbon dioxide and water vapor, and to irradiate air moving past the ultraviolet light to reduce contaminants.
