  • Patent number: 9849970
Abstract: A turbo engine includes a system for changing a pitch of blades of a propeller, the system including an annular fluid cylinder with a linear drive and a link mechanism linking the cylinder to the blades of the propeller to change an orientation of the propeller. The annular cylinder of the system can be rigidly mounted on a fixed housing supporting the propeller and internal to the propeller, unlike the blades mounted in an external rotating hub of the propeller, and the link mechanism includes a displacement transfer bearing fixed, on one side, to the mobile part of the cylinder and cooperating, on the other side, with a mechanism linking to the blades of the rotating hub of the propeller.

  • Publication number: 20160264293
Abstract: A transport element having a bottom element connected to upper portions of the transport element by easily removable connections, and a method of removal are provided. The bottom element includes a snap-fit member having a central portion connected to the bottom element by a plurality of horizontal, radially extending ribs, and an opening for accessing such ribs. A hole saw is used to cut the ribs to enable removal of the bottom element. A standard side cutting tool is used to remove the remainder of the bottom snap-fit member from the upper portion of the receptacle.

  • Patent number: 9067055
Abstract: A defibrillator electrode set for a defibrillator and a defibrillator which senses the capacitance of an attached electrode set includes an electrode set coupled to the defibrillator by an adapter cable. The adapter cable and electrode set are pre-connected to the defibrillator prior to use. The electrodes are stored in a sealed foil package to retard gel desiccation prior to use. To reduce the capacitance of the electrode set seen by the defibrillator, the capacitance between the stored electrodes and the foil package is reduced by using a thicker dielectric layer for the layer of an electrode which opposes a wall of the foil package. In a constructed embodiment, one sixteenth inch thick polyethylene foam may be used for the electrode layer opposing the wall of the foil package.
