Publication number: 20230229531Abstract: Exemplary embodiments provides computer-implemented methods, mediums, and apparatuses that provide an architecture for supporting event notifications in an analytical chemistry system. The notifications architecture allows notifications to be sent within and outside the analytical chemistry system. It supports notifications provided by disparate devices and applications of the analytical chemistry system and allows the notifications to be sent on a variety of different delivery channels in a unified and consistent way. The architecture is easily extensible to support new types of notifications and new delivery channels. The architecture supports stateful notifications, allowing the read/unread status of the notifications to be displayed. Furthermore, the architecture can leverage existing events to generate notifications, which allows events to serve multiple purposes in the analytical chemistry system and therefore reducing the amount of messages and processing that needs to be done in the system.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 18, 2023Publication date: July 20, 2023Applicant: Waters Technologies Ireland LimitedInventor: Christopher Carver

Publication number: 20230115676Abstract: An automated wellhead monitoring and control system. The system is communicatively coupled to one or more LFG wellheads as well as other desired landfill components. The system receives and aggregates both real-time and historical data related to the operation of landfill components at a single site and/or integrates numerous sites for comparison. The system controls the LFG wellheads and other desired landfill components based on the real-time, forecasted, and historical data, and utilizes various algorithms, including machine learning and artificial intelligence, to effectuate such control.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 7, 2022Publication date: April 13, 2023Applicant: Stearns, Conrad and Schmidt, Consulting Engineers, Inc.Inventors: David HOSTETTER, Philip CARRILLO, Melissa RUSSO, Christopher CARVER

Patent number: 11603707Abstract: A carrier comprises a frame coupleable with a ladder in a first position and a second position, and a harness that one can wear to hold the frame to himself/herself. In the first position, the frame supports the ladder when one carries the frame. In the second position, the frame and ladder, together, support one when one sits on the frame. The carrier's frame includes a first member that holds the ladder when the frame is in the first position, and a second member that supports a person sitting on the frame when the frame is in the second position. With the ability to position the carrier's frame in a first position and a second position, one can use the carrier to carry a ladder to and from where one will be working without having to use one or both of one's hands. This allows one to use both hands and/or arms to carry one's tools and supplies to where one will be working. Then, later in the day, one can use the same carrier to sit on while taking a break.Type: GrantFiled: June 7, 2019Date of Patent: March 14, 2023Inventor: Christopher Carver

Publication number: 20220239661Abstract: Exemplary embodiments provide techniques for creating or modifying a tenancy. The tenancy creation process may be divided into a plurality of independent stages, where each stage provisions services or resources in a cloud computing environment independent of provisioning others of the plurality of services or resources. If the current stage fails, the failure may be detected and programmatically corrected. For example, upon detecting that the first stage has failed, the system may retrieve a retry policy uniquely associated with the first stage and process the retry policy. The progress made by each of the independent stages may be logged, and the log may be used in connection with the retry policy. In some embodiments, relationships within an organization may be modeled by a graph database, which allows permissions to be more efficiently assigned than with other types of data structures.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 21, 2022Publication date: July 28, 2022Inventor: Christopher Carver

Publication number: 20210169046Abstract: A system for mounting and displaying a flag on an animal includes: a flag, a mast and a coupler. The flag includes any desired design and often includes the colors and design associated with a specific football team. The mast is attached to the flag and is operable to hold the flag in a position away from an animal's body when the system is coupled with an animal. The coupler is attached to the mast and is operable to couple the mast to an animal and position the mast such that the mast extends away from the animal. With the coupler and mast, one can releasably couple the system to an accessory worn by an animal such as a collar, a shirt, a sweater, a rain slick, or stockings, or to the animal itself such as the animal's tail or back. In this manner, one can couple the system to a variety of different animal's each of which have different body shapes and/or sizes.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 17, 2020Publication date: June 10, 2021Inventor: Christopher Carver

Publication number: 20200098552Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for are described. In one embodiment, for example, an apparatus may include at least one memory, and logic coupled to the at least one memory. The logic may be configured to perform an analytical service on a primary analytical device, receive acceptance of the analytical service, and generate an analytical services package for the analytical service, the analytical services package configured to facilitate performance of the analytical service on a client analytical device. Other embodiments are described.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 20, 2019Publication date: March 26, 2020Inventors: Phillip Young, Matthew Wherry, Kendon S. Patent number: 5268844Abstract: An electronic digital plotter for navigators which relieves the rigors of mechanical manual plotting of position on a chart. The plotter utilizes either a flexible or rigid board employing electromagnetic or capacitive resistance technology. It makes use of a fixed X/Y coordinate system to generate latitude and longitude coordinates from a chart overlay. The plotter employs a pencil or pen type stylus with interchangeable cartridge to locate position, derived from electronic position information on the board and hence on the chart. By comparing the location of the stylus to the input data, the plotter directs the user to the input location utilizing a visual, bullseye director display. Given ship's position, on a dead reckoning track or expected destination or waypoint, the plotter gives course, speed distance, and transit time. The plotter can also accept inputs from hand bearing compass or ship's heading compass.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 1990Date of Patent: December 7, 1993Inventors: Christopher S.
